Villa Calas tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Vara Blanca. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar y jardín. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. This felt like a very special place. Everyone has their own cabin with fire place should you need to warm up. There’s a long walk you can do through the jungle from the hotel which was really nice. The staff were really helpful when it came to getting taxis around, but a lot easier here to have a car.

Selva Verde Lodge tiene vistas al jardín y está en Sarapiquí. Cuenta con restaurante, mostrador de información turística, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. Everything, this was a treat and I could have stayed there for ever. The breakfast included was so good with many choices. This is great for person that want to be in nature.

Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge está en Sarapiquí y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Algunas unidades tienen zona de estar y/o balcón. Es un lugar fantástico. Pedro es un grandísimo anfitrión, trabaja para que todos los aspectos de tu estancia sean impecables. La comida genial, las habitaciones también, un lujo en medio de la selva. Las excursiones un 10, y el esfuerzo conservacionista del propietario y del staff también. El dinero se reinvierte en proyectos de sostenibilidad y biodiversidad. Muy recomendable.

El Peace Lodge cuenta con piscina cubierta y un restaurante, y se encuentra a 1 hora en coche de San José, en Vara Blanca. Ofrece conexión WiFi gratuita. La habitación grande e impecable, con una hermosa vista. El entorno natural espectacular. La amabilidad de todo el personal del hotel.

Coco Cabana in the Jungle, que cuenta con vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 42 km de Laguna del Hule. The location is fantastic: this cabana is quite remote in the middle of the jungle and in the morning we could spot monkeys and quite a few hummingbirds :) Additionally, the house is super well-kept and curated. We loved the outdoor kitchen and the comfy living room. Super recommend!!

Río Sarapiquí Lodge está a 6,2 km de Estación Biológica La Selva y ofrece jardín, además de alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. We are a family of five and stayed here for two nights on our way to Tortuguero. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect, right on the Saripiquí River, and the house feels brand new with chic design and top-quality materials. It feels like a boutique hotel. The terrace view is stunning, the kitchen fully equipped, and the shower excellent with hot water and a rainfall shower. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the barbecue area. Everything is thoughtfully designed and well maintained.

Vanilla Jungle Lodge - Rainforest Waterfall Garden está en Puerto Viejo, a solo 21 km de Estación Biológica La Selva, y dispone de alojamiento frente a la playa con piscina al aire libre, jardín,... LOVED this place. hosts are super attentive. place was exactly as described. lovely view down over the valley and the river which is AMAZING to cool off in and provided hours of entertainment for the kids. fantastic front porch area, fully functional kitchen. and TAKE THE TOUR as it's a really fascinating insight into vanilla production from the (or one of the) first producers in Costa Rica (i had kids duty and missed out on some of the details)
