Would love to return in the future for a longer stay! Thank you for everything.

Lovely spacious cottage in back garden, was exceptionally clean and very well appointed with everything you need. The location was very good with shops nearby, Dublin only 35kms away and easy to access by train if you don't want to drive in. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Situated in the countryside of County Kildare The Lodges at Kilkea Castle is set in 180 acres of its own woodland and gardens. Our lodge was very big and so calm with a view to the woods, which was very calming during our stay. The bed was very comfy, we also received a baby cot, the kitchen had more to offer than expected. The castle and its ambiance are charming, lots of green and very calm in general. The personal was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and it left nothing to be desired. The breakfast room is in the castle itself, which let us feel the castle, too, although we stayed in the lodge. The lodge was clean. The blanket was very useful in the cold morning. The lodges are quite near to the castle (it looks further afar in the pictures).

So quiet and peaceful night. Beautiful fire! Great selection of books, roaring fire and delighted there was no TV. Breda that house keeper is absolutely amazing! Had lots of information about the property and surrounding areas!
