The location was excellent, in a peaceful place under the mountains and glacier. The staff were very friendly, they even rang a bell when the Aurora Borealis was visible. Spacious rooms. The hot tubes outside. Breakfast was very good.

Loved the peaceful location, incredible views, had the whole place to ourselves, amazing chefs kitchen with all the amenities and free to use, breakfast was plentiful, rooms were very warm with underfloor heating, lovely on the feet but almost too warm at night.

The location is unique, the cabin is small but equipped really well. 5' away from Vök Baths. It is totally dark outside so if you are lucky you could see the northern lights.

This was hands down our favourite accomodation during our 2-week trip in Iceland. The apartment was tastefully decorated. We could tell that every single item was carefully picked out to match the colour scheme and vibe. The shower and beds were so comfy. It was one of the apartments that provided shampoo and body soap instead of the usual all-in-one. We truly appreciate it. Also the host is super friendly and we enjoyed her company along with her doggy, Theo. If you manage to fire up the fireplace, the whole place just looks perfect.

This property was in a remote location but very near the Hengifoss waterfall which was our next stop. Beautiful valley views. Cozy small and comfortable apartment.

We will remember the atmosphere of the Eyjar Fishing Lodge forever. There is nothing else around and the fantastic view is not obscured by anything. I highly recommend! Good breakfast. The microwave and electric keetle in the common area were nice to have.
