Roshan fue muy atento con nosotros desde el primer momento, una pena no haberlo podido conocer en persona. Aún así, todo el personal fue muy amable. También nos ofrecieron una habitación mejor por el mismo precio, lo agradecimos mucho. De bienvenida nos dieron un zumo riquísimo, y la cena estaba deliciosa. Contratamos con ellos un safari y fue una experiencia maravillosa.

'The Suite' by Wildhideaway, que tiene piscina al aire libre, terraza y restaurante, dispone de alojamiento en Wilpattu con wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. Wow, what a little gem this place is. Highly recommend letting the Wildhideaway team look after you while you visit Wilpattu National Park. The suite was very spacious even for a family of 4. The bathroom was huge and modern with a nice hot water shower. The plunge pool was delightful, so refreshing. Location was so quiet and the air conditioner worked perfectly so made for very comfortable sleep. They arranged our full day safari at a good price, we didn’t need to do anything but turn up. They packed breakfast and lunch for us and then had dinner ready when we came home! The thing that made this place so special was the warm and friendly service from Anta and his team. Always there with a huge smile, making us feel so welcome, and the food they made for us (as vegetarians) was SO delicious, the best we’ve had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.

We spent a few wonderful days at Twin Waters, hosted by Andrew, and the experience was simply magical. Nestled between the river and the sea—less than 100 meters apart—the place is a true haven of peace, surrounded by stunning nature. The nearby village offers an authentic glimpse of local life: fishermen, unpaved streets, children’s dance classes, a small church… And just 2 km away, the bird sanctuary is a true gem for nature lovers. Starting at 6 a.m., the sky comes alive with the graceful flight of beautiful birds—an unforgettable sight. The chalets are well spaced out, offering total privacy. The meals, both Sri Lankan and European-inspired, are delicious and lovingly prepared by Andrew’s attentive team. The staff are incredibly caring, and the fellow guests we met were warm and inspiring, adding even more magic to the stay. A true hidden gem, a timeless escape. Without hesitation: 10/10.

Nirvaan Safari Lodge tiene vistas al lago y está en Wilpattu. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, bar, jardín, terraza y barbacoa. La habitación estuvo muy bien acondicionada. Estar allí fue una experiencia muy bonita al estar rodeados de naturaleza. Se podían sentir de noche las ranas del arrozal que hay lado! Hicimos además la actividad de safari y nos encantó.... Muy buen precio y las explicaciones de nuestros guías fueron de 10, además siempre fueron muy respetuosos con los animales.

TEMBO Cottage Wilpattu está en Wilpattu y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año, wifi gratis, jardín y restaurante. Clean, comfortable and lovely surroundings. The staff were so kind and helpful. And the organised safari was amazing!

Bedrock Beach Villas está en Kalpitiya, a pocos pasos de Playa de Mudalai Palai, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con piscina al aire libre. Quiet and peacefull place. The Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Food available a'la carte (pre order is required), tasty, with vegetarian options aswell.

MKS - Kite & Wing Foil camp se encuentra en Kalpitiya y ofrece wifi gratis, bicicletas gratis, jardín y zona de playa privada. Hay parque acuático y cafetería en el propio alojamiento. MKS is a fantastic spot to learn how to kitesurf from scratch. It has all elements required, good wind, good equipment, shallow warm waters and best of all, an amazing team of great kitesurfers who hosted us with love! The concept of morning Yoga was also super relaxing.

The Ibis - Wilpattu está en Puttalam y cuenta con vistas al lago, jardín, terraza, restaurante y instalaciones para deportes acuáticos. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis.
