The place is absolutely stunning — the design is unique, with so much attention to detail. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Everything felt truly pampering, and the property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The staff really take care of everything you might need. We were on our honeymoon, and they surprised us with a lovely handwritten card in the room — such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they care about the little details. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Don’t miss it! And at night, the sky full of stars is just magical.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Due to low season we were upgraded to Naukluft lodge which is a few hundred meters away from soft camping. Idyllic location in the middle of the desert. Very quiet and peaceful. You can see wild animals wandering around from your balcony. Ground squirrels even come to your balcony and can be hand-fed.Very comfy beds and good meals. Very friendly owners. They even helped us with our car troubles. Overall we had a fantastic stay!

Their warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel completely at home. The trip to the dunes was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. The horseback sundowner ride and Sossusvlei excursion were both incredible and both my guides were so knowledgeable and helpful!
