What a lovely place! The cottage is incredibly clean and neat and equipped with everything you need. Helen and Clint are kind and welcoming guests, and we greatly enjoyed the dinner prepared by the chef (assisted by his lovely wife) where we mingled with other guests and had a very nice evening. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic stay. The gardens are just beautiful and the whole place is peaceful and serene.

Absolutely loved the stay here at Abel Tasmen. The Service Staff were lovely especially the charming receptionist who helped us figure what locals do at Abel and also managed to get us a cheese board & wine after the kitchen was shut.. The Rooms were nice as well.

Everything was so clean, the water was beautiful, there were heaps of kitchen equipment. The hot tub out the back was absolutely incredible. They supplied some games, books and music. The owners were such genuinely lovely people who were very helpful and kind and made a beautiful breakfast. The alpacas were adorable and the views were to die for. It was fantastic value for money. We would recommend to everyone!
