A smile, some nice talk & info, The delicious food, the hot water bottle ready after dinner. Edgar the responsible staff organized my transport, and was always attentive to help so Im didn't have any worry and could enjoy at fullest. A big thank you. The view is stunning whereever you look, you have to be there to feel the greatness of that place. A room with the most amazing view. Apo the dog sleeping on my door step & following me. So cute! Im glad I stayed for a few days, thats how you can appreciate every little thing. It should not be rushed, go with the pace.

Owners extremely attentive to care and very nice, the food is amazing, and rooms are clean (not sure why we read the opposite on some reviews - I think two hotels are called the same), great stay!

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Beautiful place to stay in a gorgeous location. Accomodation is basic as you'd expect in the remote location but we got a lovely private hut for a reasonable price. The hot springs under the stars are amazing.
