The view in the early morning was just "wow". You should come here ealier than I did to also enjoy the late afternoon view.

Although I felt like I was prepared for the climb up to the cell, it was far more difficult than I expected. Some sections turned out to be rock climbing, not hiking. However, the professional support and gentleness from the guides made the climb possible for me. I feel so grateful for their kindness and hard work. Will come back one day with stronger limbs;)

The facilities are perfect for the price. A comfortable bed hot shower and kitchen with nice steel cooking pots. Fancy staying in tranquility in the mountains with a shop selling all organic groceries just a few minutes away. This is the place to come!

The Lodge is highly recommendable. The area is super safe and close to the center of Urubamba. The Family Bungalows are very spacious and super clean. We saw that the team cleaned everything (including curtains and windows) after each departure. They cleaned it also from the „former“ energy. Breakfast was served direkt to your bungalow at the time you want - just tell them per WhatsApp or personally. The service is outstanding. Luis and Anna helped us more than we ever expected. I had a medical issue because of the altitude and Luis drove us to the medical center - stayed and translated for us! Just amazing! Anna and Luis are the souls and the owners of the Kutimuy Lodge - Thank you for all you did - from our hearts! Go there - enjoy the Lodge and never ask if the price is to high! It is not! I found it very relaxing, especially with the yoga room located right above the river. The sauna was the perfect way to end the day. The accommodation is also conveniently close to the hiking trail to the Salt Mines (Salineras) — I absolutely loved it!

There is a beautiful river nearby and a great stroll through the jungle as well. There is lots of wildlife. We saw all sorts of mammals and birds. The cabins are beautifully made and the very comfortable and clean. The shower is exceptional. They even offer you gumboots which are great to get around in.
