The bed was comfortable and the blankets & quilt made for a warm stay. There were good storage facilities and cooking facilities if you wanted to stay for a long trip. The local community and surrounding environment also helped make for a perfect location.

I stayed at the Överkalix Kalixälven Lodge in Jockfall for one night and was very satisfied with the experience. The house is a typical Swedish-style home — charming and well maintained, with a clean and cozy interior. The fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were very convenient, even for a short stay. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning, and the outdoor amenities like the terrace, balcony, and garden really added to the charm. I appreciated the peaceful setting and the easy access to outdoor activities. The check-in was smooth, the WiFi worked perfectly, and the free parking was a big plus. I only wish I could have stayed longer — highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of northern Sweden!

Cosy cabin situated on the edge of the lake, it was clean, modern and exactly just the right distance from Kiruna centre, around 15mins drive. The bed was amazing, on a raised platform with a panoramic view of the Northern Lights before sleep. Communication was great throughout.

Extra plus for darkening curtains and fan, which helped so much during the heat wave. The hosts is very kind and reachable. He allowed me to check in earlier and came over to greet me later on during the day. 100% recommended. Thank you!

Το Chalet Norrskensstugan by Interhome διαθέτει κήπο και είναι σε Vidsel σε Norrbotten. We stayed here at the end of September. The chalet is perfect. In every way. The photos are nice but don’t really do it enough justice. It feels like a home away from home. Cosy and comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen has everything one could want or need. The decor is personal and tasteful without feeling you’re in someone else’s living space. The location is just right. In the middle of fantastic nature, but only an hour by car from Luleå. The small supermarket in town has everything one could possibly think of. The owner, Annika, lives next door and is very friendly and helpful. We even had the most incredible northern lights experience right outside the front door of the chalet. I don’t know how lucky we were but it was a beautiful week made all the more wonderful because of the accommodation.
