We absolutely loved the staff Betty and Marlene. Both were so lovely, warm hearted kind and patient, always with a smile on their beautiful faces even through having to deal with two travellers who spoke no Portuguese. Thet went above and beyond making our stay comfortable, making us feel part of their family. What a special place for the person who wants to explore the natural world of Principe. Be prepared facilities are basic in the area with a local shop that provides only the very basic food stuffs and takes local cash. There is an amazing secluded beach at the bottom of a ,steep at times, jungle track that is accessible by foot only, its about 2km walking down and up around 223m of elevation. There is plenty to see on the route, including lots of parrots roosting at dusk.

A recently renovated chalet situated in Santo António, Casa de Andréa features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The house and the very quiet location were wonderful. Filomena who takes care of everything, is amazing!
