The facilities are just wonderful, clean, spacious, each room is equipped with a large balcony, parking is easy, the hotel is a stone throw away from the beach, the breakfast is simple but delicious and it's so quiet. The hotel is a family-run operation and it shows : their only goal is to make their guests feel at home. Mission accomplished!

Amazing views, stunning facilities and a perfect location but the best bit was how kind and attentive Artemis was throughout the entire trip. We felt so looked after, she went above and beyond. We can’t thank you enough. Can’t forget the personal touches like the three pink robes for our girls trip and the flowers in the stand alone bath tub with view across the sea - don’t stay anywhere else in Himare!

I stayed here with my family and we loved it. The rooms were clean, comfy, and had nice furniture. The balcony had an amazing view of Himare and the sea. Even though it’s close to the center, it was really quiet and peaceful. The host was super friendly, and we really appreciated the free morning coffee and free parking. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place.

The location was great for going around all south and west of Albania. House was very clean with nice terrace. Most of all, included breakfast was beautiful - a lot to choose from and with a great view. The family running Vila Kosteli have been so kind and sweet to us the whole time. The room was very clean. The location perfect. The swimming pool very convinient if you want to stay there or if you have kids.. Just 2 minutes away is the gorgeous Llamani beach. Himara with its restaurants and beach bars is 5 minutes drive. It was a very nice vacation and I will come back here again.

Lovely location, beach is easily accessible. Restaurants are across the beach, boats are available to explore secret and pristine crystal water beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Also, Himare castle which is also a worthy place to visit.

We really liked Livadhi beach.

We really liked Livadhi beach. It is not too large, was quiet when we visited (late September), and has beautiful views. It is a pebble beach, so can be a bit challenging to get into the sea. The water was clear and had a very nice temperature. There are several restaurants and bars, as well as some small supermarkets where you can get essentials if you want to cook yourself. For eating out, I recommend Dimitri's, which is at the entry to the beach. Great food (Greek inspired), very reasonable prices and efficient service. We did visit the main strip of Himare one evening but were not impressed. Could be anywhere (Greece, Spain etc.) and the food we had was average at best.

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

Himare is the perfect beach getaway - everything you need while not being too big or too crowded. Access to water activities and other close beaches. Furre Buke - Pastiçeri Himara just out the back - everything there was delicious.

Sofia was a lovely host and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp prior to arrival to check parking location (which was available right outside). The hotel location is brilliant, you are so central and can walk to the beach in a couple of minutes. There is a little courtyard outside the room which is nice to have a quite drink in and hang wet towels/swimsuits. Even though the hotel is right next to the busy road, there is no noise in the room so it feels very peaceful. Would happily return if we were ever back in Himare.

Definitely the best hotel in Himare! Due to it’s secluded location at the end of the bay it offers lot of privacy and the view as well as breakfast are to die for! The staff it very nice too and the private parking lot is very useful! All of the beach can be explored on foot from here including all the nice restaurants and bars along the beach! Absolutely loved our stay here. Very pretty astatic as well!

The hotel is great and the staff is amazing! Especially Alex is a lovely host, always eager to make your stay as great as posible. We had a delicious Dinner and he also recommended us great beaches in the area. Also the nearest beach was just 200m away. Also breakfest was great and the Service top. Himare is not as touristy as other places so we loved it

Lovely hotel in himare, in a quieter part of town but still only a couple mins away from one set of restaurants and a ten mins walk to the main town. having access to the beach and a pool was so worth it. Would come back and stay again the staff were also so helpful!
