Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himara is a beautiful place, but very expensive for what they offer. Some beaches are like 20 to 25 euro for the umbrella and seats, but they let you not use own food, and you should buy, the 15 euro for pasta that is not worthy. If you have a car and hunt in the deep you can find very nice beaches. The most beautiful part was the sunset on the boat which was 25 euro, worth spending.Guest review byRamiAlbania

The location is perfect, really close to the Potam beach which is free so it is great if you don’t want to pay for sunbeds and the other beaches are very close too, same as the city centre - just about 20-30 minutes by feet. The owner Nico and his niece Violeta who also works there were the kindest and really went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and cozy. We also had a really nice balcony with a view of the hills. The hotel is only a short stroll away from the beach but yet in a very quiet area.
