This hotel is centrally located just minutes away from Republic Square in the heart of Yerevan. The reception is open 24 hours and I was fortunate enough to receive a room upgrade on a high floor which featured a balcony with views of the city and Mount Ararat. The WiFi speed is good and the breakfast is exceptional! The reception staff were lovely and kind, and even sent someone straight to fix an issue I had with the light in my room. The housekeeping is very efficient and the room is consistently already made up for you when you return from breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel!

I had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express Yerevan! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced my experience. The location of the hotel is perfect—right in the heart of Yerevan. During my stay, there was a charming Christmas Village set up just in front of the hotel, which added a magical holiday atmosphere. The area is also surrounded by plenty of restaurants, offering a variety of delicious options just a short walk away. My room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and wonderfully warm—an ideal retreat after a day of exploring the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Yerevan for its perfect combination of great location, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations. I can’t wait to return!

Yerevan is a secret to many, but those who visit know it is...

Yerevan is a secret to many, but those who visit know it is a splendid destination. It has everything you'd expect, shaped by a strong design language. Sculpture abounds on almost every block. The café culture would be the envy of much larger metros, and people dress with intention rather than performance. The city is scaled for people. Walkable, approachable, and easy to navigate. It carries ancient, Soviet, and contemporary layers in a way that feels lived-in rather than curated. The architecture and pink tuff stone are singular, and even though earthquakes have taken their share of buildings, there's still plenty to unwrap. And whether Mount Ararat is visible or hidden in haze, its presence settles into the background of the city’s identity. For all of this, Yerevan remains accessible in a way many major capitals no longer are. The scale is walkable, and the value is surprising. I found that Yerevan lives in the details. It invites you to look past selfies and top-ten lists and spend time unraveling what sits beneath its surface. Take a reflective visit to the Matenadaran. See a performance at the National Opera & Ballet Theatre. Shop the markets. The Folk Museum won't take much time, but is rewarding. Walk the Cascade steps after observing the sculpture at its base. Walk slow enough to catch the architectural details, but get a car for an hour or two to bop around and get your bearings of key landmarks. And drink lots of coffee, because that's what you do.

We always want to come back here because of food!

We always want to come back here because of food! The places are also great to visit especially it's rich with history and a lot of things to still discover around even within the city alone. Great place to visit especially if you have few days to spare only. Easy to get around by foot within the city and prices are cheap and value for money. Take tour trips once you're in the city as you get better rates and they all provide good tour options.

Yerevan is ok, very expensive bars and restaurants overall. a lot of pollution probably normal in november make the scene a bit dull. nightlife ok but you need to know where to go, people still smoke in the bars. I prefered a lot of outside the city in lake and mountain towns.

We spent three days in Yerevan and absolutely fell in love with the city. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, with a unique charm that blends history and modern life effortlessly. The people were incredibly welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, and their warmth made us feel at home from the very first day. The food was outstanding—rich flavors, generous portions, and a culinary culture that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy every meal. The city itself is clean, easy to explore on foot, and full of beautiful spots where you can pause and soak in the views. Whether wandering through its lively streets, enjoying the rhythm of everyday life in cozy cafés, or watching the city glow in the evening light, Yerevan has a way of staying with you. It’s a place that feels both familiar and exciting, and we left already thinking about when we might return.

It's a beautiful city with history.

It's a beautiful city with history. One of the first with a Christian (Orthodox) faith. With very delicious food and small prices. The vernissage market is a charm. And I recommend you to see the evening city. The cultural program is wonderful.

Friendly population, very good food restaurants (although service in Armenia is something to get used to, it's really culture)... A clean, cozzy, safe city worthwhile visiting as well as the other parts of Armenia. Without exception, they all smile if you thank them in their local language (as it's very hard to remember :-)). I certainly recommend all my friends to put it on their list.

Very friendly host, she helped me a lot in case of laundry, ordering a taxi, or book day tours. She also makes very good Armenian Coffee. I had a wonderful time and nice conversations here. Bonus: the location is very good, it is about 5 to 10 minutes to the Republic Square and the city of Yerevan can be easily explored by foot from the hotel. Definitely recommended.

The hotel has a superb location in the city center, just behind Republic Square. The hotel is back-to-basic but has everything you need for a short stay, and location is really great! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and you always leave beautiful Yerevan with a prayer that you'll be able to return some day...
