The building is well planned and built, and very clean. The staff is polite and helpful, though not everybody is fluent with English. There are great hiking areas nearby, with churches and birds, and the climate is much cooler in the summer than Yerevan and its surroundings. And not too many tourists - a great place for summer holiday. The city is very actively polishing itself. This may become a major attraction in 10 years. Go now before the masses find it!

I rarely write reviews, but in this case, it's impossible not to. Our stay at Apricot Aghveran Resort was a true gift-majestic mountains, crisp air, and breathtaking views...Despite the snow, the days felt almost like spring. The rooms were spacious, bright, and exactly as pictured, with large balconies overlooking the stunning landscape. Nestled in the mountains with flowing rivers, the resort offers tranquility and great hiking opportunities. Though the observatory was closed, I look forward to returning to explore it The food was outstanding-fresh, organic, and rich in Armenian flavors. The talented kitchen team, Ruben, Heik, and David, provided exceptional service! A special highlight was the Bali massage by Cynthia, whose expertise created a truly relaxing experience. With amenities like a game room, sauna, and outdoor pool (soon an indoor one too), the resort is perfect for both relaxation and adventure. I can't wait to return !

The place is awesome, very peaceful and quiet. The snow made it more beautiful for the winter season. The room with the bathroom was clean, warm, and very comfortable. They have a dining area with a kitchen, where I stay most of the time because of the ambiance and mountain view, perfect for my reading and relaxing, especially while having my breakfast. The location is easy to find; from Yerevan, I took a YandexGo taxi (you can download the app), which had a very reasonable fare (a minibus is also available, “Marshutka,” the owner will guide you how). As a solo traveler, I really felt at home and safe because the whole family was so supportive, and they are available to help any time. I will never forget my breakfast; it was very delicious, and I enjoyed it a lot. I arrive at night (almost 6 hours of land travel from Georgia), and they prepare a tasty dinner for me. The family was so kind that they were really so welcoming. My personal retreat and prayer encounter was truly great, for God blessed me with a wonderful experience in the BJNI Family Guest House with a very beautiful mountain view. On the opposite side of the BJNI Guest House is a typical river that is an excellent place for a short walk and to take in the local scenery.

Amazing hotel and holidays! The hotel is big, with big hall and territory. I was staying in a single room and it was very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast and dinner are extremely delicious! If you’re looking for home stay where you can experience authentic Armenian hospitality - this is the right place. Our room and the common area had everything we needed. We enjoyed the stunning view of the area from the balcony, even experiencing a storm from that balcony was amazing :D the guesthouse is located pretty high up, you can even see Yerevan in the distance. Special thanks to Mery who was our host and who always made sure we had everything we needed <3 she checked whether kids from the other room are not too noisy disturbing us. In the morning she prepared breakfast from local produce - homemade jams, Armenian cheese, omelette, she even brought us fresh mint and walnuts from her garden. This is a place you should visit if you’re looking for an authentic local experience, away from crowds and expensive hotels. This places is a peaceful gem and above all, it has a heart and a soul - it is the heart and soul of Mery.
