We absolutely loved everything about the apartment and the amenities! We traveled with two kids and a dog, and everything was super comfortable — spacious rooms, good mattresses, and a large balcony with a gorgeous view. The bathroom was big and included a bathtub, which was a great bonus. The apartment is just a minute’s walk from the main hotel, where guests can access the spa and wellness facilities. For added convenience, there was also a washing machine and dryer available for our use. The spa, with its stunning view, was amazing — plenty of options and quiet relaxation rooms. During our stay, there were almost no other guests using the spa, so we had a truly relaxing experience. The indoor swimming pool was perfect for any weather. There’s also a water park very close to the hotel, which is great for families. A huge thank you to the staff — we arrived late (after the regular check-in time), and the owner kindly waited for us, welcomed us personally, and allowed us to complete the formal check-in the next day. We really appreciated this warm hospitality.

Great vacation! So many impressions. The room was beautifully decorated and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. Everything was carefully thought out for comfort. The bathroom had a full set of toiletries. The welcome champagne, sweets, and water were a lovely surprise. The balcony offered a breathtaking view of the Alps. The hosts were very friendly, sociable, kind, and attentive. They even asked about our breakfast preferences. The breakfast was delicious, and they let us take anything we couldn't finish for the road. My wife was especially happy to meet their amazing Labrador, Zeus :) They arranged discount cards for the ski slopes for us. At checkout, we were once again pleasantly surprised by the nice gifts.

Wonderful location with views of the town square. Beautiful room, designed with attention to every detail. Easy to use sauna. We also liked the tastefully-designed common area which offered a coffee maker, water heater, plates, cups and dining utensils. Creaky floorboards added a rustic vibe.

Barbara is very hospital and nice, although speaking very little English but always smile and giving us help. The environment of the house inside and outside was brilliant, every sight is a beautiful picture, the house is big and well furnished, we enjoy our stay a lot and definitely will come again when our next trip to Munich. Location is also very convenient. Thanks so much Barbara!

What were your favourite places there?

What were your favourite places there? The Sommerrodelbahn, The Cable Car, The Postalm Panoramastrasse and the drive through Fischbach. What we highly recommend is a nice walk through the town and surrounding places itself!! This is a very very pretty place. Where did you eat? We cooked ourselves. However, we bought groceries at the Spar market in the town. Is it easy to get around Abtenau? Yes. The town is very accessible. We, however, did not use the public transport. What would you avoid on your next visit? Nothing really. The place offers a lot of things to a tourist!

The team is simply fantastic. As arriving after closure of kitchen they called us and took our order and kept it warm till arrival. Room clean and well equipped. Our children got some present waiting for them. Wellness area was a very positive surprise. Dinner and breakfast extremly good. I simply can not say anything bad about the place. It is simply one of the 10 best hotels I have ever been (am a frequent traveller)
