The location is strategic. Outside the property provides "nextbike" as public bike rental station. You may install the nextbike app to register the services with a local phone number. Walking distance to bus stop from train station. There are a lot of restaurants around the corners. Hotel Babenbergerhof's restaurant has good menu and food as well. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. We have a pleasant stay. Thank you.

The unwillingness of the owner to solve the problem that he accommodated us in a different apartment than we ordered. Insufficient kitchen equipment, some dishes we had to wash before use. Bugs in the rooms. There is no curtain in the bathroom window, you can see into the bathroom from outside. There is no electrical socket in one of the rooms. They do not sort waste. Beds are comfortable, it is close to Wienna. Lack of storage space for clothes.

A friendly cosy atmosphere. Suitable for a short term stay. Hospitable and helpfull staff. Airconditioner and refrigerator and similar equipment could make the stay more comfortable. Anyhow, good value and nice place for the price.

A small village stretches along the road, with no restaurants except for "Der Winzerhof". However, a golf course and the town and castle of Laxenburg are nearby. The castle and park, as well as Franzensburg Castle, are well worth seeing.

Achau itself offers relatively little, but is a great starting point for further excursions in the surrounding area (Laxenburg, Mödling, Hinterbrühl, Gumboldskirchen and the Wine Route, ...) and the hotel, the hosts and the staff are top-notch.

The hotel was super clean. It is somewhat austere and very basically furnished to our mind though their blurb states all the furniture was made to their requirements. Bit like a health resort and they do offer various services along those lines, which we did not try. Was comfortable enough. Hosts were very nice. Breakfast was really good and the young woman who looked after the breakfast room was lovely and made very nice scrambled eggs! Breakfast offered a very good variety. Their wine was very nice. We didn't try the restaurant.

Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok (not great). But the balcony is very nice and peaceful and we enjoyed staying there. Bed and room are big. Toilet and shower are separated so that was a plus for me. AC in the room! A big plus for me. The window has bug nets. Free parking near the hotel. Overall it was a good stay.

The Hotel satisfyed our needs. The location is perfect. There is a parking place for the cars near Hotel. The breakfast was good enough. The room conditions were so perfect to relax after long travel day. The staff was friendly. The owners of the Hotel have a good idea to remind people and not to forget their healthy way of living.
