I mistakenly booked a shared bathroom, much to my wifes disappointment. However the hostess was very nice about it, she even offered us the opportunity to cancel, but we went with it anyway, and it wasn't so bad in the end. Conveniently located off the A14 (No vignette required). Easy parking, quiet location. We'd driven direct from the UK en route to Italy, and got a really good night's sleep. Recommended for an overnight stay 😀

Great wellness hotel with outstanding service. We were here to celebrate my Birthday and receive a great treat from the Check-in moment and all the staffs seems to acknowledge about this so everyone said HBD. This is very impressive to me. This family owned Hotel is very well decorated and managed. The room is very spacious with comfortable bed and great balcony with beautiful view from the Bodensee. Spa area is very nice, well decorated , and the treatment was also very good. The dinner is very delicious with various dishes to choose from plus the great wine recommendations from one of the Lady Boss (I forget her name). I would definitely come back to stay here and would recommend this!!

Excellent room - quiet and peaceful - the only sound at night was the tinkling of cow bells! The staff were amazing, and the facilities like the pool and sauna were perfect. Their restaurant is outstanding, providing locally sourced food as well as some dishes with a Thai influence. The village is a delight, with a nice cafe (Stopp) and friendly locals. We chose this hotel as it was a convenient stop on our long drive across Europe, and were so pleased we did. A real highlight of our trip and highly recommended.

The restaurant and breakfast are good. The cleanliness is very good. The worst thing is booking a mountain hotel and finding out it's on the side of a busy road, which prevents you from having the peace and quiet necessary for a comfortable stay.

We only used the accommodation in Alberschwende for...

We only used the accommodation in Alberschwende for overnight stays and spent our days skiing in Mellau or at Diedamskopf (relatively far, 23 / 33 km), so we didn't see much of Alberschwende itself.

The breakfast buffet was incredible, it couldn't have been better! The free gas station was perfect, and the dinner was fantastic. The pizza was absolutely amazing, and the staff was friendly. All in all, we'll be back!

The area is simply stunning. Pure nature.

The area is simply stunning. Pure nature. The wonderful scent of the herb meadows was particularly pleasant. You can go on beautiful hikes, and Lake Constance or the towns in Vorarlberg are easily accessible.

For us, it was just an overnight stay.

For us, it was just an overnight stay. We found the price-quality ratio excellent. Everything was to our liking, including the excellent restaurant where we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The staff was also very friendly, and we found the room to be excellent.

The hotel is very good maintain, clean and comfortable. The personal were willing to help and friendly. The food was tasty with quality ingredients. Sauna area better than other 4 star hotels visited in the region. I loved the traditional look of hotel, it is giving you the feeling of holiday. For sure we will come back here.

Our stay was very good from the start with a warm welcome explanation of facilities and room spacious and very comfortable. Food was excellent with inclusive breakfast. We will visit again as hotel was at the start of a very pretty route through Austria..from Bregenz. Free private parking is always a big bonus for us.

The bus stop to/from Bregenz is right across the street from/next to the hotel entrance. It was very nice we did not have to take the car to Bregenz. It was a quiet place with large rooms, good breakfast, and sauna/wellness facilites.
