We have stayed in a really nice apartment that was just great for our bigger family. Apartment was big enough, newly equipped, clean. The house has a large ski room, so that we could fit all our skis and snowboards, really excellent. In the evening we could have a beer or other drinks in the downstairs restaurant, we have also tried the table tennis in the playroom. The owners have been very welcoming and helpful. In overal it is a great location in Filzmoos.

The location of the hotel and the view from there was wonderful. The breakfast and the dinner were all delicious and various. Every day we received snacks in the afternoon and on Sunday evening we also received a glass of champagne as a gift. The wellness area was also perfect and fully equipped. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff was very friendly and was happy to help us.

Traditional Austrian village visited many times in all seasons. Very friendly helpful atmosphere and lots of activities to welcome visitors. Lots of places to eat. Variety of local transport to get around the area and into the mountains. Highly recommend.

Lovely village, perfect for a short break.

Lovely village, perfect for a short break. Downhill skiing is limited but perfect for beginners with excellent ski school and easily accessible nursery slope. Several red and blue runs through the trees, but unfortunately we were too late in the season so snow was poor. Great base for walking. Plenty of accommodation on offer, but we enjoyed the flexibility of the comfortable Lieblingsplatz Aparthotel.

Nice place in Summer, but 2 or 3 days would have been enough. Not many restaurants or shops and limited opening hours in Summer. We felt it was very expensive: 5 Euros for an Americano is more expensive than in London, and it was not made by a barista, just a standard machine.

Filzmoos is a great location to stay, located at the middle of Salzburg area. The place is great for winter activities but not less for summer attractions. I especially want to recommend to do some hiking on the mountains surrounding the area.

Very good hiking and biking in summertime.

Very good hiking and biking in summertime. We had visited the town before in winter for cross country skiing that we also very nice with a unique track at higher elevation (and thus scenery). For this summer stay we did some nice hikes, many choices at all levels and distances and… great huts for a break, lunch, etc. We saw many (mountain)bikers too, did not do this but if we had known upfront certainly would have considered it.

Th apartment is in excellent condition, with triple glazed windows and solid doors. The noise of the river outside can easily be enjoyed by opening the windows or cancelled effectively by keeping them closed. The space inside the apartment was wonderful for our family and it feels as though it has been thoughtfully designed. The addition of coffee pods and the Nespresso machine was a little extra thought that was appreciated. It is located in a beautiful area of Filzmoos and we hope to return!

This was our second time staying at Mein Alpenstern and just like previous time we loved our stay. The apartment is located in the beautiful Filzmoos, which for us is an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. The apartment itself has everything you need and the hosts are friendly. If I am in the area again I would definitely stay here again :-)

The personnel at the hotel and restaurant were extremely friendly and welcoming. We liked also the apartment with two balconies with a view, a good breakfast and a delicious dinner. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The apartment was clean and sufficient for 4 people. Filzmoos and the nature around is beautiful in the summer.

The location (just outside Filzmoos village) is very quite - you hear no traffic at all. The apartment was spacious and really had a nice Mountain View as promised. All kitchen equipment (including dishwasher and induction plate) was in order. Everything was perfectly clean. There were enough free parking slots.
