This hotel and its panoramic view was a highlight of our vacation! The area is so picturesque. It has a restaurant, so being slightly removed from Grein was not a problem. It was a welcome change from being in the city & cobblestones and so far away from nature. I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel and its restaurant and would encourage others to make a special effort to stay there.

We spent here only one night as a sleepover on a long drive, but I can imagine this place to be great for longer stops too. The apartment was very comfortable, and HUGE. Very good value for money. The host was also very friendly and helpful. Some of the facilities were not in an ideal condition (e.g. the coffee machine, or the slight unpleasant odor in the bathroom), but overall we had a fantastic experience. We would not hesitate to stop here again in the future.

Lovely period hotel full of character and charm. Stone stairs with wooden panelled breakfast room. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very large. There was no air con but that didn't affect us during storm Boris! Breakfast was excellent with a great selection to suit all tastes. We arrived as 2 soaked cyclists and were able to dry our wet waterproofs in the hotel drying room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A truly wonderful wellness retreat! Hotel Aumühle is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the wellness facilities are top-notch. The food is delicious, and the peaceful, beautiful location adds to the overall sense of tranquility. A fantastic value for a rejuvenating getaway.

New owner since the beginning of this year. The family also runs a restaurant/cafe and a vinothek at the Hauptplatz of Grein. They do a great job to make you feel good. They have an impressive covered bicycle parking space in the yard of the pension.

Small hotel in the center of a beautiful small town. Bicycle storage is possible in the garage, there is also a charging facility. We had a great breakfast. The room is relatively small, but excellent for one night.
