Well, it is far from luxury, just a simple (basic) and clean flat, very colse to motorway. For 29 Eur you got an entire FLAT with a twin beds bedroom, living room (with a sofa), a small kitchen and bath. For that price is definetely a 10*

First of all, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we first had a room in the "Schachner in the park" and then moved into the main building which has a direct access to the spa and the restaurant and bar. The view was absolutely exceptional, with a broad horizon and the autumn colors ....The food was absolutely delightful. The spa with the infinity pool and again the wonderful view was great, as are the possibilities for walks and hiking. We definitely will go back! thank you

We booked the room “at the last minute” and stayed very satisfied with our choice - we liked everything. Starting from a free parking, very kind staff, comfortable bed, breakfast. Hotel is right in the city centre, but we were there in a working day and during night it was surprisingly quiet. We also enjoyed our dinner at hotel’s restaurant and it was great - very delicious.

Breakfast was great! I booked without, but for 12.50 EURO, I got a perfect breakfast, served at my table. Location is excellent, just a few kilometers from the highway. Free parking places available. Take care: to enter the building. A code is sent by email, after booking. You have to use this code to open the main entrance door, also to get the card for the room. The bar was open, up to 00:00. Very pleasant atmosphere, good wines.

We were on the way to Budapest and for us Pöchlarn was a great stop. We also wanted to visit Melk Abbey and Pöchlarn was ideally placed for an afternoon tour. However, since we only stayed one night I cannot judge the village or its surroundings.

A lovely, bustling town with a still-intact pedestrian zone.

A lovely, bustling town with a still-intact pedestrian zone. It's located right on the Danube, with a bridge nearby for crossing the river. We explored both sides of the river by bike. The well-known town of Melk is about 11 km away. You can easily cover 60 km in a day.

Stayed for two nights - just right :-) Small town within easy reach of Wachau, good e-bike rental in town. Regular bike right at the hotel for free :-) Right next to the train station ..but you couldn't hear the trains that much. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but it was bearable ..staff friendly and helpful.

We used the place as a starting point for trips. The place itself is not interesting but convenient in terms of location. The place was functional for sleeping. Not convenient in terms of the stairs to the room (we had large suitcases and it was quite difficult to get them up). The room is very very basic, not luxurious, reminiscent of a hostel, we got a room for four - the shower was fine. In summary - comfortable, good location, good price, breakfast is just fine. If you don't expect a luxurious place - recommended.

It is useful to see the local Catholic community and the neighborhood gatherings of the locals, also the birthplace of Oskar Kokoschka is commemorated in many steps. The village is within easy reach of the cult spiritual center of Melk - it cannot be missed.

The house is quite old.

The house is quite old. The location near the train station/industrial area is not attractive. Nevertheless, it was relatively quiet at night. I only used the house for an overnight stay during a longer trip. I wouldn't book it again. For me, it's not good value for money.

This was the most positively surprising hotel on our summer vacation. The price might make you think it is somewhat mediocre but that is far from the truth. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotless, the beds-albeit twins, were incredibly comfortable, there was a ceiling fan in the room for the hot evenings, the breakfast was outstanding. We were able to store our bicycles without issue. This was a definite standout for us and we would not hesitate to recommend this to others and stay here again!!

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel-Restaurant Moser Pöchlarn. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. Everything was clean and well kept. The breakfast was simple but decent — just what we needed to start the day. The atmosphere is traditional and cozy, and the location is convenient, especially if you’re exploring the Wachau region. Great value for the price!
