The host is very articulate and knowledgeable. He is very much a people person and makes the stay very pleasant for people. Nothing it too much trouble. The meals were excellent and generous, and well priced. The restaurant was run very smoothly and again the personalities of the chef (and again the host who also works within the restaurant at night and is the host at breakfast) were very much a part of the enjoyable experience. The location was beautiful. Lovely family run pensione.

Really great environment and room accessories. From the area, it is possible to feel family values and teamwork. The owner mostly walks among people in the restaurant to check customer ratings or just say 'Hello.' The sauna has a really nice view and free entrance to the balcony, so it's awesome. Unfortunately, customers with children cannot enter the sauna area. Based on this rule, it would be a great option to offer a reservation for Private Time. This option is not offered automatically. The environment is primarily prepared for the winter season, which is reflected in the fact that the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which is understandable. Considering that we try to go to similar countries, such as Switzerland for example, so I dare to rate 10/10 with a reminder of the sauna, because of the children.

We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment.

We spent wonderful winter vacation in this apartment. It was amazingly big with enough space for everyone and everything. Very well equipped, super clean and cozy. We could easily travel to nearby skiing resorts by our car (parking in front of the doors) but ski bus stop was very close. Our hosts were sweet young couple who was very helpful and nurturing. Definitely will come back once we want to visit the area again!

This location was not our first choice.

This location was not our first choice. As cyclists we were forced to alter our desired destination because of a recent flood that wiped out the accommodations we thought we would have preferred in Krimml. Ironically, our 2-night stay at Schöeneben turned out to be our favorite destination of a 3 1/2-week bicycle tour of Bavaria and Austria. We were easily able to get to our desired destination by bicycle on our full day in between our two nights and incidentally unencumbered with panniers. The location was incredibly beautiful and being up from the river and cycle path offered views that would have been unavailable if our original wish had come true. We were extremely pleased. Schöeneben was not only our lodging, but the restaurant hosted by a husband and wife team provided the most delectable dining experience of our tour. We would enthusiastically return if it becomes possible in our future travels.

Beautiful surroundings, we always just passed through this region, so we are glad that we managed to stay longer. There are nice hiking trails, cycling trails, the possibility of traveling by bus for free thanks to the hotel card, which runs frequently

Everything was fine, except finding the hotel. Entering the address "Lahn 10, Wald im Pinzgau" takes you to the village, not the hotel! A small sign as you turn into the village would have solved everything, because apparently, there are two Lahn 10s!?

An interesting location with a variety of attractions.

An interesting location with a variety of attractions. Very close to the Hochkrimml area and the Krimml Waterfalls, just an hour from Gipfelwelt 3000, and 1.5 hours to the high-alpine trail to the Pasterze Glacier. At the same time, it's a "frog jump" to Tyrol.

We used this location as a base for skiing in Königsleiten. The distance is manageable, but you should think carefully before doing so. It's a good fifteen-minute drive every day.

Absolutely perfect. The host couldnt do anymore for me. As a disabled traveller he could see i was struggling and instead of charging more money like some hotels (yha innsbruck) to move me to a lower ground floor room. This kind gentle man gave me a downstairs apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for him, always attentive, always there when i needed anything. God bless you sir, i wish there were more like you.

The hotel is not new,but the room was brand new with brand new equipment. Nice bedroom,very cosy beds, roomy living room,cosy chairs and couch,strong and stable Wi-Fi. Fully equipped kitchen,including dishwasher. Free parking. Nice views.Our visit was off season, so the village was quite empty. Over all very nice place to stay.

Very comfortable apartment. Small, but cosy, we had everything we needed. Electric heater in the bathroom and floor heating was a big plus, since even in the summer it can get really cold in the mountains. There was no hair dryer, but they provided it. Nice view from the balcony.
