It's definitely not your usual stay — instead of the common commodities think dinner by the fire (making both is especially satisfying outdoors), a shower and a bathtub in the jungle, beautiful territory with a creek, trails and lots of animals (we spent 2 mornings with flying foxes). And the bed in our Bower Hut was super comfy. Highly recommend this place as a couples retreat and a nice base to explore the Daintree area. Do note that there is no Wi-Fi in the outer huts, no power outlets and just a couple USB ports for your phones. But sometimes that's a good thing) P.S. Andy and Netty are very nice people, and you'll definitely meet them and their puddle Rufus when you walk to the reception for some Wi-Fi)

This eco lodge is a real gem. It is run on sustainable principles, with everything elevated above Rainforest ground. Each visitor is assigned their own detached hut at the end of a walkway, and the huts have lots of windows and a long skylight to look out at the rain forest where you see cassowary droppings. The beds are highly comfortable and bathroom is amazing with natural bath fittings and the shower having a full height window. Staff are lovely with lots of information provided about the Rainforest and surrounding area to explore. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were superb. Loved our stay.

Beautiful location, stunning views. We stayed in large spacious house close to the beach. We took all of our own food as there were excellent kitchen facilities. The beach is stunning. The Daintree area has lots to offer.

Lovely large well equipped house with a very relaxing vibe right on a beautiful long beach. Great kitchen plus a BBQ on front deck. Fantastic, relatively isolated location at Cape Kymberley ( not Cow Bay) but we knew that because we checked it out on the map before booking! Excellent communication from the owner Rhys. Wished we had booked for a few extra days. Next time!

The view is exceptional. The location in Cow Bay is great. The house has a lovely Fijian vibe and is extremely spacious, but not for someone who doesn’t like open spaces and older style. We loved that. So many spaces to chill and relax. The breeze is amazing. Pool area great for a party and kitchen would be really nice with a few updates.

Peace & Quiet Ray is a fabulous host, and the house was warm and inviting. Everything you could need was there at the ready. Beautiful breeze comes through the property, which is fabulous. Cow Bay Beach is just down the road and is a very pretty beach to visit. Location is great if you want to do your own touring at your leisure.
