The house and town are both attractive.

The house and town are both attractive. The centre is really close, with a number of nice shops, not chain stores. Several nice cafes there, and dinner at the Bowling Club was tasty and reasonably priced. Unfortunately we had not known that the Convent is closed midweek. The Mill Market is very big and varied. It has a good cafe and is in good grounds

Daylesford has so much to offer, the three days we were there was not long enough to venture around the town and the surrounding areas. The local spa treatments were amazing and brunch at Cliffy's was excellent as well as being dog friendly. The Cider Brewery was a highlight as was our trip to Hepburn Springs ... all close to Daylesford.

Heavy tourist area, parking is atrocious on the weekends but we went to see friends living there and they said it is much better during the week. Shops sell out of food often on weekends we were told. The lake was beautiful and the air smelled like spring, although there is many wattle trees if you have allergies. Many interesting shops and art to see in town. Chocolate factory is great and recommend having a hot chocolate.

Weekends are very crowded, but nicely quiet on a weekday.

Weekends are very crowded, but nicely quiet on a weekday. Plenty of accommodation, eating and shopping options in the town. Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens are impressive, with a lookout tower and cafe. Lovely historic buildings and pubs. Nearby Hepburn Springs has nice walks and the bathhouse for pampering. Good walk to the top of Mt Franklin if you dont mind uphill walking and some rocky areas near the end.

Daylesford is a brilliant place to stay.

Daylesford is a brilliant place to stay. It was a short drive from Melbourne and definitely a hub for many lovely towns around it. Daylesford has many high quality shops, beautiful places to eat, The Mill Antique Market and beautiful art galleries including The Convent Gallery. There are some beautiful parks to enjoy a picnic or stroll.

Pillows were extremely comfortable! Like sleeping on a big cloud! Location was phenomenal, extremely central to everything you want/need in Daylesford. Ample parking in the hotel carpark which was also private and tucked away. Restaurant on site was decent, good cocktails. Would've been awesome if we could have ordered food/drinks to the room.

Amazing place. Absolutely loved our short stay at East St 3. Just the right amount of space paired with simple, clean luxury and ambience. The smells and sounds welcome you with open arms and that's just the accommodation. Daylesford is just as amazing.
