We were very late to check in due to a medical emergency. Keys were left in a lock box and easy to find. Rooms were super clean and amazingly spacious.

Location was so super nice, inside bush with a lot of wildlife in the night - we saw Bennett’s wallaby once when coming back to the cabins in the evening. Also, we saw southern lights just right next to the hotel!! The cabins are spacious and convenient, perfect for family stay Washing and drying area was convenient to reach and the machines are working properly. The kitchen and dining room is so big that you can cook every meal there Short ride to Kingston centre where you can shop and eat

Oldfashioned guesthouse, but still very comfortable with comfy beds and great hot shower, in lovely Battery Point. Amazing selection of restaurants in walking distance, Jackman & McRoss is a must for brunch and Da Angelo if you like Italian. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the shipwright arms! It is ideally located in historic battery point. There is small parking which the hotel let us use before we checked in. The room was very nice and comfortable. All common commodities are really clean. There is a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor. We had a lovely dinner and then a beer at the bar where a local group was playing classic songs. Overall a great experience

Kingston Hotel had extremely large rooms and was on the...

Kingston Hotel had extremely large rooms and was on the opposite block to Coles supermarket and other shops. The rooms were separate from the hotel which enabled a very quiet sleep. Shiploads and Chemist etc were just outside the door approx 50m an easy walk. Didn't get a chance to see anything else.

Spacious room, all basic amenities available- microwave, fridge, tv, cutlery, kettle and toaster. Had a seperate sofa and dining table which is well placed. Very helpful receptionist, check-in after hours was hassle free and provided late check out too. Coles is right opposite which is great, location is a little far from city centre (10-15mins drive)but this is a good budget friendly and hygienic option. Exteriors are okay, was disappointed but once I saw the room was very happy. 4/5 overall!

I used my room at the kingston Hotel as my base as I was touring around the local area. It was in a prime spot, if you enjoy shopping this is the spot for you, for me it was all about travelling around. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Also so quiet, I was very surprised by this. The restaurant the staff was lovely and the food fantastic. Very family friendly with an area just for kids to have fun. Totally enjoyed out stay there and will be returning very soon.

A growing area with ample shopping and other convenient facilities,such as restaurants, fast food outlets, bus station etc., all within a short walk. An efficient bus service to cater for trips to the city of Hobart. The township is handy to Kingston Beach and other surrounding areas for daily walks. A thoroughly pleasant and relaxing place to visit and stay.

The room was incredibly large (would have fit another Queen bed in)! Close to other shops (Coles was on next block within 5 min walk) Kingston Hotel appeared to be very new or renovated, but either way it was well done! Looked fantastic. Meals were very good and friendly helpful staff. You need to go to the Hotel to check in as the rooms are separate, which helped to have a super quiet evening.

Wonderful view from the Pea Pod - lovely to be immersed in nature. An abundance of birds, pademelons and farm creatures. The pod is thoughtfully appointed with eco-friendly amenities. 15 minutes from Hobart CBD and a short drive from Kingston Beach, this place is superb to wake up in! Most comfortable bed on our Tassie trip.
