Beautiful and clean restored heritage building. Our corner room was extremely large offering a great view of town center. The room had all facilities. Nice bathroom. We had dinner and breakfast in the bistro and both were excellent, especially the Chicken Parma. We will be back again. Glad we picked this country town and hotel rather than the larger cities.

Bec and Jol made our stay so comfortable and were so welcoming. The cottage is gorgeous with so many thoughtful special touches included. The beds are very comfy and the lounge spacious. The surroundings and property are beautiful, and we could hear the wildlife, such as the banjo frogs at night. Thank you for such a relaxing stay!

I loved all the places of interest.

I loved all the places of interest. Bird on a wire cafe and Love Bites cafe were excellent. Friendly staff. Lots of places to walk and take lots of pictures. Radio Station reception was well worth a visit

I had chosen Maryborough as the central hub of a 3-day rally...

I had chosen Maryborough as the central hub of a 3-day rally for about 35 pre-1939 motor cars, and had one or two misgivings after being told by a couple of Bendigo folk that the town was less than ideal. How wrong they were! It is central to many great driving roads, varying and interesting scenery and a wealth of history. While the spectacular Railway Station is probably Maryborough's most notable architectural feature, the town is full of really fine Victorian and Edwardian residential and commercial buildings. AND it is extremely well-endowed with eating, drinking and accommodation choices.

The hotel was beautiful.

The hotel was beautiful. The railway station was magnificent. Both definitely worth seeing. Maryborough is easy to get around. We ate at Bangkok Thai Restaurant. Excellent service at this restaurant and food excellent too. All in all a lovely place to visit.

Lots of changes since I was here last, hard to find a couple...

Lots of changes since I was here last, hard to find a couple of places. The Maryborough map in the motel was extremely useful and I felt completely safe exploring. I was there for a friend’s birthday.

We spent very little time in the town.

We spent very little time in the town. We were there for a family event. Maryborough is a medium sized country town. Shops close at 5pm. No night life. Did not see a pub open . We also lived there for ten years, but it was 15 years ago. Bit hard to review at this time when we basically stayed overnight then went home again

Nice little town.

Nice little town. Has all the major shops including Subway, KFC, McDonalds, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi & even K-Mart. It even has its own hospital. A lot of good history for an old Gold town. Great location to setup as a base camp to explore Central Victoria.

Great location, quiet, room is well setup with everything you need for a short stay. Room was clean, bottled water supplied on check in and great to see recycling bins outside all rooms. Friendly and helpful check with advice on places to visit while in Maryborough. Excellent blockout blinds to keep bright sunlight out in the early morning. Heater works well on chilly night, wifi good and all streaming services on the TV (bring your own log-in details).

My Mum and I are both from Maryborough but we moved to Adelaide 8y ago so it's nice to come back and see family, we were really happy to find a nice place we could have our dogs and feel safe leaving them there when we went out. The beds were comfy and on our first day it was great to come back to a air-conditioned house after the 39° day.

Lovely and clean with extra service's like fresh milk when you check in, and specific towel for makeup removal. Also remotes had hygienic covers so very clean. Owner was super helpful and knowledgeable about Maryborough and recommended some eateries and things to do.

Lovely clean and beautifully presented room and was also very quiet. The biscuits tea and coffee were appreciated and it was nice to have microwave, toaster and kettle to use. Exceptional value. Will definitely stay again if we are in Maryborough.
