The location was fantastic, a mere 2 minute walk to some of the best cafes and restaurants in Mornington. Less than a five minute walk to the beach and absolutely stunning views of the bay at both sunrise and sunset. The accommodation was super clean and comfortable and meet all we could want from a short stay.

This accommodation was very clean, good location. Quiet place. Good firm Queen Mattress. Shower is excellent. Decent sized fridge not a minibar. Ceiling fans, airconditioning, comfy couch. Plenty of street parking available. A 2 burner stove, with some pots/pans incase you wanted to cook. Cutlery/crocker/glassware all clean. A microwave/griller oven aswell. Big TV too. Nice little decking with a couple of chairs, small table n a sun lounger, sliding door to get outside with a mesh door to let air in. Katrina, the owner, was very helpful. Thank you

We were not there for long but good for what we needed.

We were not there for long but good for what we needed. We went to the Peninsula Springs, did a scenic drive around the area, looked for places to eat, relaxed in the pool and spa and relaxed in the room. With a car it was easy to get around. We bought groceries and mostly ate in the room. We would recommend the Springs, the Peninsula one is a lot older and it is obvious, and the Alba one is new and it is obvious as well. Both have similar attractions, however price is a consideration. Both venues need to supply a brochure or a detailed map of the areas to go to and open/closing time, eg Cafes and an organic route to follow. We will be back to Mornington.

Mornington is very central with tasty food and wine.

Mornington is very central with tasty food and wine. Just a short drive to Portsea, Flinders, Redhill, and Frankston to enjoy the beaches, walking tracks or a long bike ride along the bay. Finish the day with a lovely meal and a cocktail while watching to sun go down.

It was about 11hours drive from Adelaide.

It was about 11hours drive from Adelaide. Need atleast 3 days here just to get a feel for all the lovely beaches. I have boys 13 and 15 that enjoyed going to Arthur's seat, The lighthouse and walk, Marthas cove, a walk at the bunkers at Portsea and a gorgeous garden near Sorrento. As long as there was a cafe nearby (there always is). The weather has been warm in April and we've only worn a jumper in the morning. Easy to find.

Mornington is well placed to reach nearby places of interests and yet hold interest in the town itself. There is lots to see and do in the town itself with many things in nearby towns as well. Food, clothes, shopping, natural scenery. Mills Beach is nearby which is a lovely beach to visit.

The room was clean and spacious; love that there is a backdoor that goes to an outdoor with great view to sit and relax. Small but clean kitchenette; Well heated room; nice indoor pool with spa. Well manicured garden. Great location. Walking distance or very short drive to the Mornington city centre with good cafes. Great choice for business trip or unwind with family. Internet was good too.

We were happy with our stay at Norwood House. Unfortunately we were only there for one night but it's definitely somewhere we would stay again next time around. The shower in our room was amazing and the hotel manager was very very friendly and great to talk to. Overall, very happy with our stay.
