We had good clear instructions for our arrival and all details were provided by SMS on matters being WiFi etc. These cottages were in an amazing setting and spotless throughout, the grounds were beautiful and well kept! We enjoyed shopping and dining in the arra around Sackville Street. We met so many nice and helpful shop owners as well as patrons. Enjoyed the Mill for coffee, the Bottega Toscana for dinner and Pelicans Port for ice cream! Such a pleasant town with a perfect life/work balance.

Port Fairy is a beautiful town with lots to see and do.

Port Fairy is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. The beaches are pristine, and unspoiled. We weren't there at peak time, so not sure how busy it gets over summer, but it was lovely to visit. So clean and well maintained everywhere we went - absolutely beautiful. A walk around Griffiths Island to see the lighthouse is well worth it, and takes about an hour of leisurely walking. Went to the market on Saturday morning and bought some nice local produce and ate at The Victoria Hotel. A short drive to Eumeralla Coastal Reserve was also lovely. Can't wait to come back.

Stayed for the weekend, it was a perfect getaway. Fantastic beaches, lots of nice wee shops there. Locals were friendly, especially at the information centre. There was a cute little farmers market on the Saturday.

Port Fairy is a stunning place to visit. I love it during winter, and if you can fluke some clear winter weather with a light north wind you will see it at its pristine best. Summer time and school holidays can of course be very busy - so be prepared for that.

Loved this hostel ! Was there during low season so it wasn’t super busy but I had a really peaceful and relaxing time in this hostel and Port Fairy. The room I was staying in was super cute, made me feel like I was in a cabin on a boat. The communal rooms are all super cozy. The overall atmosphere of the place is super good. The team was super reactive with any question and provided a lot of information !

Spacious, elegant rooms in a carefully restored heritage building close to the main town. Felt very luxurious. Lots of thoughtful touches like beach towels. Very comfortable beds. Close to the main town (tasty pizzas at Coffin Sally). We walked to East beach as well.

Easy drive into centre of Port Fairy. Access to Port Fairy Bay Beach. Quiet location. I had problems with one of the door locks. Estate Agent (Hearns staff member) arrived promptly and fixed it for me Walk in shower has good water pressure and hot water
