The beautiful fish & chips from the salt by the lake shop, the views across the water from the bridge and the local people very friendly and helpful. Everything was in walking distance from our accommodations which we found absolutely marvellous after driving for 5hours to get there.

We found staying at Tuncurry was well located to all...

We found staying at Tuncurry was well located to all facilities a nice walk to Foster and shops over the bridge, close to the rock pool for swimming or the beach. Great coffee shops good fish and chip shop and the fish co-op. We stayed at Pacific Palms motel right across the road to the lake. We had breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday at The Deck, which was straight across the road the food and service were great, Had dinner at the Lake & Ocean Hotel in foster just a nice walk over the bridge. We found a place called The Tanks part of the Bicentennial Walk Foster, it's about a 35minut walk or a 5-minute drive from where we were staying, it looked great especially if you like to snorkel that will be a place we will visit next time we go to foster. We find Foster Tuncurry very easy to get around we just leave the car at the motel and walk everywhere; all the walkways are easy to walk on even for families with little ones in strollers or want to ride their bikes. I would recommend Tuncurry to stay and especially the Pacific Palms Motel. Go and see for yourself and have a fun relaxing time.

Excellent, great location near both Lake and Beaches...

Excellent, great location near both Lake and Beaches Tuncurry and Forster beaches 'Excellent' particularly great for family stays, variety of activities to do, fantastic location and best relaxing local Clubs are very good also to go for dinner.

YOU GOTTA love Tuncurry.

YOU GOTTA love Tuncurry. A quiet little sea side fishing village at the harbour entrance with lots of great clubs, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

There is nothing flash about Forster - Tuncurry but if you...

There is nothing flash about Forster - Tuncurry but if you were drawn to beach, water activity, lakes, laid back folks it's as good here as any other place. On my recent business trip it felt like the cat was out of the bag.

Tuncurry has so much for younger children.

Tuncurry has so much for younger children. We discovered this year that they have a new waterpark near Lake Wallis. There is also a skate park and a playground all nearby. Water views and the Rockpool with a cafe and picnic tables perfect for an evening picnic dinner.

We really loved this motel very convent to all convenances a nice walk over the bridge to Foster, and to the rock pool in Tuncurry, a great coffee shop across the street. The staff were great at the motel. We stayed there a number of years ago but they have done a lot off renovations and hope to do more. We have booked again in January. The only thing I would like to have been some more storage space, ok for a weekend but I think more for a week. But all in all, a great place.

Our cabin was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Cabin 12 had a good size TV and 2 lounges, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than most cabins we've stayed in. Walking distance to foreshore and Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club. The office staff were friendly and efficient.

Lovely and clean room with a very comfy bed that was really appreciated after competing in the Forster Tuncurry Runfest! Lovely and very attentive hosts. Close to restaurants and cinemas and a short drive away from Forster town centre. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!

Checking in was easy, I was able to do this early as room was ready, front of office staff were very pleasant, location of hotel is good. Beds were comfortable, Bathrooms appear to have had a reno in the last couple of years, they were fine, felt clean.

Excellent value for money. Undercover parking for a small to midsized car. Off street parking for 2 additional cars. Quiet and comfortable. Bathrooms were very new. Perfect location for an event we had to attend in Tuncurry.
