A very pretty little town.

A very pretty little town. Very clean and safe to walk and cycle around. Lots of eating and drinking options and plenty of shops. There is a very nice river running through town. From the bar at the back of Jacos Bar/Restaurant you can sit and watch the ducks on the river.

I had never been before in Aarschot. But it is a very nice city to visit. Many beautifull housese, old begijnhof... It is not a big city, but from here you can make trips to the surrounding city's, Scherpenheuvel, diest..

Had dinner with colleagues at "Shokudo" Japanese restaurant in Aarschot. Exceptionally good, fantastic service. We ordered a "boat" with 68 sushi rolls. I live in Alkmaar, but I would drive up and down just for this restaurant!

Aarschot is a compact town with a good atmosphere. The number of sights is rather limited, but in excellent condition. Beautiful places: Grote Markt, the Demer area, the Beguinage, 's Hertogenmolen (restaurants).

A charming Belgian town with a lovely square in the center, a kind of large market with good restaurants and cafes. A lovely stroll along the river, flowers on the bridges, well-maintained. The area near the station is a bit desolate, though.

We stayed here while working at a fantasy festival and will definitely be booking this hotel again next year. The owners are very kind and welcoming. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The hotel is situated in a very peaceful area so we were glad to come home to a quiet and relaxed environment after working all day.
