The breakfast was excellent. The bread and croissants were absolutely delicious. We really appreciated the home made jams. The breakfast room where the breakfast was served was beautiful. The whole place feels very homley and cosy the level of decoration is ecxeptional. Unfortunately we were there when the bakey was shut but I can imagnie it being fantastic when it's open. The beds were also comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Dog friendly place which was an absolute bonus for us. I highly recommend this place :-)

We are a family four and we enjoyed two nights’ stay at this lovely Auberge. There was easily accessible parking just outside of the rooms. The accommodation was spacious with two good size double bedrooms and a very comfortable living area and a little kitchen. It was just as it appears in the photos. It is right next door to a very lovely restaurant, where the breakfast is served in the mornings and they served lovely food in the evenings (extra cost for the evening meal as per their menu). The atmosphere was lovely at the restaurant and the service was very friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the misfortune to suffer a punctured tyre just before our arrival at the accommodation. This was obviously potentially really inconvenient for us - particularly happening on a Friday evening! The owner was extremely helpful. He was even kind enough to get up early on a Saturday morning and accompany us to the local garage and ensure that the problem was sorted quickly for us so that we could fully enjoy a day at the zoo. We were really made to feel that this was no problem for him to do so, but we felt this was definitely above and beyond expectations of usual level of service. We were extremely grateful for this as this event could have really ruined our only day at the nearby zoo. We would highly recommend both the rooms and the restaurant.

Beautiful place, love the book showing how they built it themselves. So cosy and just beautifully done. The setting is stunning, rained while we were there but even then it just looked beautiful. The kids loved the chickens. Just a really nice place to be. Great hosts too.

Nice small country town with new industrial facilities kept out of town. Nice farming country landscapes. Highways nearby (N7, E429). Multiple great and casual eating facilities and new grocerystore nearby. Fifteen min. to Paira Daiza (largest zoo in all of Europe), 45 min. from Brussels and airport, 25 min. to Tournai/Doornik.

The decoration is outstanding.

The decoration is outstanding. You feel like being on a beautiful yacht or at the sea side. There was a very warm welcome by the host and the breakfast was exceptional. The hotel is 100% clean in each corner. The fridge has lot of beverage that you can take without cost. I have visited the three rooms of the hotel and they are all beautiful. This will be a very long lasting souvenir. We will come back there for sure !!!

For us, it was a great location to stay.

For us, it was a great location to stay. We went to Pairi Daiza for two days (which is absolutely impossible to do in one day!). The hotel we stayed at was about a fifteen-minute drive away, so it was perfectly manageable.

The location, on an industrial estate near the highway, was...

The location, on an industrial estate near the highway, was disappointing. Breakfast and rooms were fine. An ideal place to stay overnight while traveling. Be sure to make reservations in advance at the restaurant; unfortunately, this wasn't possible for us. It's only a 20-minute drive from Pairi Daiza, which was our final destination.

Close to where we needed to be, the family room was okay, but the bathroom was accessible, which we didn't expect. The primary beds could have been a king or queen size. At the restaurant, we were given tagliatelli instead of spaghetti, which the little one didn't want to eat, and the steak was also overcooked.

The apartment feature, where you get feel of hotel and also have an apartment with separate room ss self contained suite was quite useful. Also if you keep your room clean and dont need cleaning for a day, you get pub voucher - though not much money but still good to use it for a drink, juice etc
