Wonderful couple Niels and Anke are the owners of this beautiful hotel. I was really surprised with hospitality and client oriented approach. Room was very big and comfortable. Mini bar had a good selection of beer and wine. Nespresso machine and wondeful cookies was top. It’s worth writing separately about the magnificent bathroom. It is almost the same size as the main room. Everything is done in vintage style. Looks amazing. If you want to feel like a count or baron, then you definitely need to stay at this hotel. At the backyard there is a beautiful garden with tables and chairs, where you can enjoy nature of Flanders. I recommend to try dinner in their own restaurant. Anke is a professional chief. She cooks like a God. All dishes were superb. For such good price you get Michelin like quality. I am not kidding. And with combination of belgium beers dinner was top of a notch. Thank you Niels and Anke! I will stay there next time during Ronde Van Vlaanderen! Best option in Flanders!

Steenhuyse is a magnificent hotel in the middle of a tranquil city. I've felt great bedded and had a lot of space. My room was equipped with a big bathtub and a lot of useful furnishings. The stuff was a bit reserved when my check-in took place, but was very friendly. I would recommend to book a room for two as minimum. When you're travelling alone the room is almost overwhelming but has a great appeal. Again any time.

The price-quality ratio was good. Friendly staff, okay room, Foodcorner could be better, breakfast was okay, nothing special, TV didn't work due to roof work. In short, a good stay for one night.

It is perfectly located when you want to have experiences in connection with the Flanders races. Easy to get to Oudenaarde for the start and finish on Sunday and the race on Saturday, where there was cycling. Good starting point for cultural and nature experiences. Nice historic city and area with good experiences

A revelation of tranquility combined with the refined interior and friendliness of this day and age. The two owners are extremely helpful, hospitable, and create a sense of security. We really enjoyed the walks, you will find many beautiful places that will completely relax you. Few restaurants are open on Mondays, but we also found nice places in Oudenaarde and Ronse.

1) Good location for easy access by car and cycling, close to the junction routes to and along the Leie River, and the museums in Machelen, Deinze, and Deurle (e.g., junction 92 is about 1.5 km from the hotel); 2) Kruishoutem seemed like a deserted town on Tuesday evening, August 2nd; only the library was open!

Nyls and her beautiful wife ( the young host-couple ) are super friendly people . i was forced to book very last-minute a spareroom at Clementine ( because of last-minute cancellation by hotel Torenhof in Sint Martens Latem...) and as we are used to say ... not all bad comes to hurt : i had great time during the afternoon & evening. the B&B is located in a ancient building ... it could appear a bit creepy at first sight... but you will change your mind in a while as soos as you chat with the hosts.

The rooms look exactly like the picture. Very big and comfortable. The location is practical for visiting France and Belgium while staying in one hotel. Niels and Anke were proactive, they respond swiftly, are very helpful and care for the guests.

Really something different. Very nice authentic early 1900 building with beautiful rooms and very friendly and helpful owners. If you want a change from the classic hotels, this is the place to go.
