The hotel and the swimming pool were very clean. The swimming pool was a good size. It is a beautiful modernized traditional building. The room was very clean and in a good condition, it was even checked to make sure no bugs were there before we moved in. The breakfast was very good with lots of baked options and cakes, lots of choice generally, more like a lunch! The bread was excellent. They had pao de queijo.

Canto das Águas is a great hotel in the most perfect location. Honestly the view from the hotel onto the river is unique. The room, food and service were all lovely and they helped us arrange our transport and activities while in Lençóis. Thanks too to Joao Lucas for the drinks at the pool bar - a real pleasure every night we were there.

Lovely hotel with great charm and special vibe, right in town. The grounds are really amazing, trees, plants, birds, pool, old library, places to sit. Also everyone we encountered was really kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Arriving to Lençois without expectations about anything, we got the best stay we could possibly have wished for. The owner of this property, Franklin, welcomed us as his children in our first encounter and ever since, he held that level of friendliness and made us feel at home. The breakfast is great and served fresh with new variations of "salgados", cakes and juices everyday. Since the owner is a former guide, he helped us to plan all of our activities and since we're traveling on a budget he found ways for us to explore as much as possible for a low cost by renting a car and driving to the attractions instead of renting guides. You can really tell when someone loves what they are doing and are passionate about it, and this is one of those cases.

Very cute city with plenty of restaurants with great food. Very safe and people are friendly. Plenty of guided tours to chose from. Hikes are amazing. My husband and I took a hike by ourselves without a guide and it was fun too.

What an amazing stay at Pousada Alto do Cajueiro! We were so amazed by the view from our window of the town of Lençóis, and this was enhanced by the beautiful vegetation around the property. We ate a delicious buffet breakfast which was unique each day. The best thing about my stay though were the amazing staff - particularly Amiel, who went above and beyond with helping me to arrange a take-away lunch for a day trip. I could not recommend this property highly enough!

We have been travelling for 3 months and this was the best accommodation we stayed in throughout our time in Brazil. Lovely, spacious, clean rooms; great breakfast with lots of variety; ideal location in proximity to the bus terminal, restaurants and local trail routes; comfortable areas to relax; really helpful hosts and free tea, coffee and cake which is so nice to come back to after a day exploring Chapada!

A beautiful hotel in a cute town. A great place to make base when visiting chapada Diamantina. Great design and decor, very roomy and spacious, in the middle of nature. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is delicious with great variety. A huge swimming pool with jacuzzi complete the stay, helping us relax after a day of hiking.

One of the best places I stayed in Brazil. The place is super pretty, there has been put a lot of attention to every detail. Breakfast is heavenly good. The staff is amazing, super sweet and friendly people who know a lot about the surroundings and are very willing to help you out with anything you need.

Charming house in a quiet area of Lencois. Less than a 10-minute walk to restaurants and bars downtown. Two kitchens were available for guests, which were always clean. Nice patio with some trees. Coffee, tea, and cake were offered every morning, which was a nice treat.
