The staff was wonderful ! So kind and helpful while in a stressful situation due to the wildfire and road closure. They went above and beyond the usual . It was the quietest Best Western ever. It must have thick soundproofing between the rooms.

Bill was very inviting, providing us with lots of local knowledge, and a great breakfast. The house was very nice, you can tell a lot of care has gone into maintaining and updating it. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Very nice location & the owners were very nice & informative. Room was actually more like an apartment & breakfast offerings were very good. Easy to find Bo us was seeing bears at Stamp River & seeing the motorcycles for the toy run. Highly recommend the Beaver Hut if in Pirt Alberni

This place is extremely charming and retro. It is an old school hostel and you meet really interesting people there. The place is really clean and Char is such a lovely person. The upstairs venue is fabulous. You really feel like you have stepped back in time. The property is very close to the harbour and lots of unique shops and cafes.

It was a very quaint and cozy. Clever use of the space and property. I also loved waking up in the morning to go outside with my cup of coffee to listen to the crickets, very serene. You are about 20 mins away from the town center up a hill.

It was fine. I think the best part was the sushi restaurant being right next door to us. Would have been nicer if they stayed open later though.
