We visit Wetakiwin to see family. The city itself isn't someplace I would recommend as a vacation destination. It can be a little "sketchy" at times with a large native reserve nearby. However, the Reynolds Alberta Museum is a must-see and Wetaskiwin is close to great shopping in Le Duc and Camrose.

The Reynold's Car museum was great.
The Reynold's Car museum was great. Hands on activities for children were a lot of fun. It is very well planned and the staff was friendly. Yatin's Indian restaurant was a very good choice for vegans. and for gluten-free options..

Kids loved the waterslide and pool.
Kids loved the waterslide and pool. Hotel was recently upgraded and was clean and spacious. They had a small business center with a laptop and printer which was helpful for me. Lots of restaurants in walking distance too.

Situated along the highway in this small town, this hotel is quite typically a motel. No fanfare expected, none received. It was useful for the few days of activities we had scheduled for the area. Staff very pleasant and approachable. Breakfast extremely basic "continental" offering. Be aware: two floors, no lift and a rather steep European-like walk up to rooms on the upper floor, where we were situated.
I liked the location of the hotel it was around walking distance of all amenities.
I liked the continental breakfast that was offered although it could have some muffins added to the menu.
Front desk management was very friendly.
