The location is really good if travelling by train. Although google maps says walk 8 mins .., our map took us a long way round . You can actually go through the train station to the luggage lockers and main train station office … there is an exit at the luggage lockers … you just need to exit there .. cross the road and it is not far from there - google maps will find it easier if you are at that exit . The property is really close to shops and easy walk to old town.

The staff at the reception greeted us with a very warm welcome after a long drive. Very helpful,speakers very good English. Breakfast although we are used to an English breakfast,but it's worth the money. Location exceptional since public transport is opposite the hotel. Thank you for making our stay comfortable. The Bristol is a lovely hotel that has a very cool vibe. Our room was spacious and well appointed. It is a short walk from the station and is right in the gorgeous old town. Good shopping and eating options are all around. We loved Bern and we would highly recommend it and this property.
