We had an excellent stay in Frutigen! The house was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. The surrounding views of the Alps and mountains were absolutely stunning, making every moment feel like a postcard. All the amenities were complete, and everything we needed was provided. Parking was available, which made things even more convenient. The host was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Truly a peaceful and memorable experience. We couldn't fault this place. The beds were so comfortable, the spa absolutely perfect and the dinner and breakfast two of the best meals we'd had in a long time. On top of that the staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. It was raining heavily when we arrived so we were given complimentary teas before being taken to our room (as it was an outdoor route and that way we could wait until the rain had stopped). Robert and Ute on Reception and Peter in the Restaurant were amazing, though all the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. This place is a little slice of magical luxury and we highly recommend it as somewhere lovely to treat yourself - and it's not even that expensive by Swiss standards, considering what you get for your money. We only stayed one night but felt so well-looked after and relaxed that it felt like much longer.

I just returned from an unforgettable vacation at a hotel in the commune of Eshi, and I can't find the words to express our delight! This hotel is a true gem of Switzerland. From the very first moments of our stay, we were struck by the incredible views of the majestic mountains surrounding us on all sides, beautiful old church and Lake Thun. Every sunrise and sunset here is a spectacle that is impossible to forget! The interiors of the hotel are beautifully designed, combining modernity and coziness. The cleanliness in the rooms is impeccable — everything was perfectly prepared for my arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that even such small details as dishwasher tablets were provided. This really shows how much they care about their guests. The breakfasts are simply magnificent! Each morning began with enjoying delicious food and a cup of aromatic coffee on the terrace. I can't help but mention the hotel staff — they are just wonderful! Always friendly, responsive, and ready to help in any situation. Their warm attitude made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you very much 🤍

Venue is very secluded.

Venue is very secluded. This is meant for hikers and campers and not for families travelling place to place. The eating area is infested with flies that makes it very unhygienic. The room has no air-conditioning and the window has no grills and makes it unsafe to be left open with children. This caused us to sleep in a window shut room making it extremely hot in the summer with only a fan to provide ventilation. They have no hot water kettles to boil water for children

We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all...

We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all of us. We had so much fun and never even used our car. We loved the village and the hiking path along the river. The restaurant was very good. We also enjoyed the restaurant next door in the botanical garden and fish farm. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place to all families.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. We have truly discovered a hidden gem of Switzerland. Many touristic places are easily accessible from there, and the hotel itself offers comfort and abundance of entertainment, including mini golf, pool, beach volley… The room was clean and the view from the balcony - absolutely stunning. The personnel was very welcoming and kind. We will certainly come back and will recommend the hotel to anyone who considers staying in the area!
