Everything about the hotel is excellent. The staff and owners are absolutely amazingly friendly and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms and restaurant are ultra clean and show great pride in small details of decor to meet your needs. This is a special place. It's a delightful country inn with a lot of style and character - and with a warm welcome from the owners. The restaurant is of high quality with much of the ingredients sourced locally and with care. Same for the fabulous breakfast. We were on a bicycle tour and the owners were very helpful in providing secure storage for the night.

A very nice and clean hotel. The reception for Ochsen Lodge is at the opposite side of the street, in the main Ochsen hotel. In the lobby of Lodge, snacks and drinks (enough even for a light breakfast) are available, free of charge for the guests. It was incredible quiet, very clean, very good WIFI connection. Fast laundry service, I appreciated the help! :)

Either Switzerland is to blame, but Ascott Hotel has the kindest people. I have been checking in outside the check-in hours, but nevertheless, I was met with a smile! In the mornings, during breakfast, personnel ask you for the coffee/tee preferences; they are extremely attentive all in all when it comes to minor requests. Much recommended!
