Really excellent apartment hotel. It felt very safe (there is a main door and it doesn't open directly onto street) and the general location was perfectly fine if you have a car. About an hour/hour and a half to all the top spots in the region like lake Como and verzasca valley etc. Just make sure to leave early to avoid traffic; the main road through the town seems to be the main road for everyone traveling to Varese from Ticino and it can get a little congested. The room was really new, and clean. The kitchen amenities were great and everything we could have needed in terms of cookware was available. A bigger container of salt/cooking oil/dish soap would've been helpful for a long stay, but you can get everything you need in the department stores nearby. Bed was comfortable, and the TV had a very decent selection of channels. It was overall one of the best apartment style hotels we've stayed in. It was probably the newest/nicest building in the entire town. 10-15 minute walk to the train station which is also fair, and I would recommend that if you just want to day trip to Lugano as parking there isn't ideal. You can also easily take the train to Milan for a day. The buses from the train station later at night were also fine and drop you off very close to the hotel. The pizza place down the road was quite nice and also fairly priced for Swizterland. The pastry shop right next to it was also pleasant.

We cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. The decor and detail are next to none, the staff kind and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was very high quality. We visited Como and would only stay on lake Lugano from here on out. Morcote has a ton of charm and great restaurants, and getting around with public transportation was easy. Highly recommend!!

The restaurant is perfect, very tasty, both traditional and original. The room has all the necessary amenities, there is everything for breakfast: a coffee machine, a cappuccinatore, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts in the refrigerator, fresh bread in the mailbox. We really like this place!

A fantastic stay with great hospitality. The host and staff were very responsive, making everything smooth and easy. The dinner at the hotel was excellent—high-quality ingredients, full of flavour, and with great recommendations to match. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was relaxing and well-equipped. The reception staff were absolutely excellent. We’d had a nightmare situation with our old car breaking down which then meant a lot of complicated conversations. Our language skills are limited to English but Greta and the woman on the afternoon shift kindly made the phone calls on our behalf and smoothed the path to the car being repaired. They were so very kind and professional and we appreciated them very much. The restaurant staff were charming and food delicious. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Friendly cleaning staff.

I was initially drawn to your hotel because of its impressive location and breathtaking room views. However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was your exceptional staff. They say that a hotel is only as good as its staff, and I couldn't agree more. Your staff captured the heart and soul of Switzerland, and it was evident in every little detail. From the moment I stepped into your hotel, I was greeted with warm and genuine smiles. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to assist me with anything I needed, and they did so with such grace and hospitality. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests and took pride in their work. What made your staff truly unique was their ability to make me feel like family. I have been living in Switzerland for quite some time now, and I have come to know the warm and welcoming nature of the Swiss people. However, your staff took it to another level. They made my stay feel like I was visiting family, and I cannot thank them enough for that. I must mention that I was going through a tough time during my stay. It was my birthday, and I was feeling sad and lonely after a recent breakup. However, your staff's kindness and warmth made me forget all my troubles. Everything was very clean and we were very well welcomed by the hosts. We booked a table in the restaurant and the food was very good. The wine selection is amazing good. The location was great and we had a fantastic view from our room and we were able to charge our eletric car directly at the hotel. Thanks for the hospitality.
