We were there for only one night, and it was far beyond our expectations. They upgraded us to a deluxe room with the lake view that was recently renovated. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Indoor wellness was closed due to the renovation, but the Jacuzzi and Sauna outside were amazing, clean, and with beautiful views. Breakfast was very delicious and complete. Hotel dinner was also tasty, with great ambiance and reasonable prices. There was also a very convenient on-demand transit between the hotel and Vitznau station!

Breakfast was very good. Loved the honey each day. Omelette was very good. Wide variety of flavoured teas. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was superb just right across the bus stand. Lucerne station is just less than 10 mins away by bus. Bus comes every 15 mins. Wide variety of food choices at the station. Loved the shawarma (grilled chicken/beef wrap) at Istanbul restaurant at Lucerne station. There's a big Coop at the station with plenty of food choices to grab n go. Hotel is close to all main attractions easily accessible by bus and trains. Bus from Lucerne station drops right outside the hotel, so there is no need to get a taxi. Hotel backyard is very beautiful where you can go for a walk. Kids have a play area with swings and see-saw. Would definitely come again. Free roaming Wi-fi for all hotel guests too! Room was spacious to accommodate my family of 4.

If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go.

If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

The long lakeside promenade is wonderful.

The long lakeside promenade is wonderful. There are many delicious restaurants (some in hotels). The Rigi Railway is very close by, so you can quickly reach higher altitudes (for snow, sun, and/or hiking). Lucerne can be reached in an hour by boat or in about 30 minutes by car.

Vitznau is a small town with a manageable center.

Vitznau is a small town with a manageable center. It's great that it has a boat landing and a train station for the Rigi mountain. This makes Vitznau perfect for all excursions around Lake Lucerne.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The location is great for accessing Rigi via cogwheel train or Lucerne via boat. Breakfast was great with the usual inclusions (cheeses, cold meat, bread, jams and boiled eggs), and they were able to get some gluten free bread for me too, which was very nice. Having parking available was a nice bonus.

Staff all very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a great view of the mountain. The food was great, really liked the buffet menu and the charging method (by weight of plate). Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Room was quite small but we accepted that before booking. Breakfast very good. Location and setting beatiful. Hotels like this could be developed into Deleuxe but then it would be out of our league
