Location was perfect. Best area on the island. Stunning beach, safe swimming, great snorkelling. The villas are very spacious and solid. I had been worried about noise as shared walls but none at all. Breakfast was delicious and loads to eat. Host/staff attentive but not obtrusive. Very relaxing break.

We loved everything about our trip, our second to Rarotonga. We had three different accommodations all offered something different, all exceptional. Te Ara Villas, a home for all 7 of our family. New, comfortable in a great location and everything you could need. Then just the two of us so in the fabulous Studio Varia, also near new with amazing amenities, a little further out so our car was useful, then some time at Edgewater resort which as a different vibe, the rooms are a little dated but resort life is fun. Recommend Rarotonga great people, weather and plenty to do.

The people are friendly, the fire dancing was awesome. The culture dancing was amazing. The markets had a great variety of merchandise , even the food had a great selection, and the beaches, sunrises and sunsets... Wow! absolutely stunning!

Rarotonga is a wonderful place for a peaceful family holiday...

Rarotonga is a wonderful place for a peaceful family holiday. We especially enjoyed the fresh sushi (tuna) available at the many small eateries around the island, Taco Tues for Fresh Parrot Fish (soft) Tacos at Kai & Co and the awesome snorkelling and swimming everywhere. Saturday market is also a must visit as was Capt. Tamas and also to get in an island night dinner/show. If you want flexibility, highly recommend you consider hiring a car or bike to allow you to fully explore and stop as you wish.

Wonderful place. Lovely people. Great beaches. A good place to chill out after seeing the sites of Raro. Good snorkelling and swimming 🏊‍♀️. Bus's around the island if you don't want to hire a car. A day trip to Aitutaki is a must do.

Absolute gem.

Absolute gem. After our last few trips to Bali and Lombok dealing with noise/traffic/pollution, we wanted a more authentic holiday location and felt we would be stuck in a resort all week if we went to Fiji. Rarotonga isn't a tourist hotspot yet and that suited us perfectly. People were friendly, transport was simple enough and it's a beautiful island with a proud culture on display. There are limitations based on the location, so no fresh milk and limited produce options, but for what they have they do great and being able to walk off the beach almost anywhere on the island and snorkel in clear and clean water with amazing sea life on display was well worth it. If you want cheap and nasty go to Bali, but if you want to experience local culture and life in the Pacific then I would highly recommend Raro.

Fantastic location, absolute beachfront on one of the best beaches in Rarotonga. Large house with good kitchen facilities and comfortable furniture. Excellent outdoor living area with direct access to the beach. Friendly owner who meet us on arrival and was very helpful throughout. Great internet service via starlink. Adjacent lagoon is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking etc.

Muri Beach is a great location on the island! We were there for a wedding with a few other guests staying in hotels nearby which made catch ups easy. The resort itself is lovely, it's the sister resort of Nautilus so we used the same restaurant facilities as Nautilus guests. The staff were lovely at both locations.
