Although we visited during the low season (autumn), its charm is undeniable. Two large, beautiful beaches, the reserve managed by the Mapuche community, and the proximity of the volcanoes create a stunning setting. The boat trip across the lake from Playa Chica is a must-do—it's beautiful, affordable, and very well explained by the guides/captains.

The lake is the best thing about Lican Ray; the temperature is perfect, both in the morning and throughout the day. There are shops and stores where you can buy supplies. It's an ideal place to relax and enjoy the lake.

I loved the beaches; the water was a very pleasant temperature, and there were options for children, teenagers, and all ages thanks to the variety of water sports. There's a wide range of food options at affordable prices. You can enjoy delicious cakes, pastries, and local crafts.

Lican Ray is a beautiful, very peaceful place.

Lican Ray is a beautiful, very peaceful place. You can walk around the town without fear of being mugged, and if you go to the lake, you'll have a wonderful experience. There are plenty of activities on the lake itself, so it's very difficult to have a boring day.

THE BEST: WALKING ALONG THE LAKE SHORE. AND THE BOAT TRIP, VERY NICE. RESTAURANT "SUR DE CHILE": DELICIOUS CHILEAN FOOD. THE BAD: MUCH LACK OF PAVEMENT: STREETS FULL OF MUD. THE NICE: BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES. THE UNFORTUNATE: FEW RESTAURANTS HAD CHILEAN FOOD DURING THE NATIONAL HOLIDAYS, AND SEVERAL WERE CLOSED.

The place is located remote but just a few km outside of Licán Ray in pure nature. It's a very quiet place where one can relax easily. The standard of the rooms is exceptionally high and the hosts are very nice and helpful. I can highly recommend El Boom 😊

The place was immaculate. Plus the fact they have a a waterfall inside their venue is a triple plus. It is one of the most beautiful places I saw on my trip. I want to say this place was the highlight of Licanray.
