We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and the hot pools are amazing. You wake up to the sounds of birds in the morning! Loved the hospitality - it is a family run business and the owner was really helpful; Juan, our server at the restaurant was great and the food was really tasty! Exceptional value for money too!

The most amazing thing was the view in the evening and by day!!! The host was a super amazing dude, he checked on us if everything was okay. And he was so enthousiast. He told us everything what we could do in this region and around the property. He even lead us to a hike trial that not many people know of. It was an absolutly amazing stay! If you are in Costa Rica, you have to spent a night at this house, and probably 2!!

I loved everything about this place. The staff, the food at the restaurant, everything. They can help accommodate whatever special requests you might have and helped me arrange a great guided hike around the volcano. The room was clean and the hammock out front was perfectly shaded for afternoon reading. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, above and beyond expectations.

Ana is a fantastic person with a big heart and lots of knowledge about plants and flowers in the surrounding area. We were so lucky to have a sloth in the trees and and could even watch the armadillo in the garden. The colorful birds were just amazing. A great place to stay and calm down. Thank you Ana!!!

Malekus Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property. The Lodge is the perfect base for hiking the local parks, and the breakfasts are varied & delicious. Super nice check in. Great English and we could pay by card. We even got a night tour trough the gardens! Saw several different frogs and a fluorescent caterpillar. Room was spacious and just perfect. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The juga natural was very tasty.
