I have never been to a hotel before where the owner does a quick haircut and mends your bag on your first day. Thank you for looking after my husband when he felt frail. I love the room, the chairs. The forest location. That there was no artificial lighting in front of our room late at night ...the dark was a joy and seeing the sunrise through the trees The home cooking, the coffee the little seawater pool, the wild beach. The caring environment, lovely staff. The howler,the macaws , the things that went bump on our roof! Its a little different. The Golfe Dulce is away from the tourist trail and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen

Finca Sueno del Oso is the closest you will get to a genuine jungle adventure without going on a real expedition. Felipe owns a large part of the jungle, and with his family he has made several trails available for his guests. There is plenty to discover for several days at all abilities, easier to hard. Felipe and/or his wife and adult son accompanies you to make sure you are safe, you have the option to explore on your own too. The trails are full of life and jaw-dropping nature, and give you the opportunity to experience the real rainforest. We were so lucky to be accompanied by Felipes wife and son, who we felt were very genuine and warm. The son is very knowledgeable about the faulage and animals of the forest, and shared his knowledge in a very natural way. Our teenage sons especially enjoyed the company and were very excited on the trails, but we all had a fantasticly enjoyable adventure. At the house the food was very good and always homemade of natural ingredients from the surrounding compound and forest. We highly recommend a stay at Finca Sueno del Oso, especially if you want a real natural experience away from the more commercial Costa Rica. Its an extra bonus that it turned out much cheaper than having to go on the commercial tours in Corcovado.

The beautiful room, the view on the Pacifc ocean, the great food, the kindness and professionnalism of the staff, all the animals you can spot so close to you (monkeys, macau, toucans, frogs, etc.). The park of the hotel is a good before-taste of the almost nearby Corcovado national park not to be missed, with great guides

The property was absolutely beautiful, the sunrises make it worthwhile on their own. Great for birdwatching and just winding down. The staff are incredibly friendly and do their best to help whenever asked. The location was very good, 900m walk to public pier from which we took a boat to Corcovado. It also has some good sodas nearby. Moreover, the apartment itself is very spacious, clean and overall feels new. Finally, hosts allowed us to park a car nearby the apartments for few days, while we away to the Corcovado park either overnight stay.

The Staff are exceptional. Marcel and Kennia were absolutely outstanding. The slogan "where luxury rums wild" hits the nail on the head. Such a fantastic resort. Many animals to see. The resort is placed im the middle of creeks, nature. The gym has everything you can wish for. The food is divine. The beach is nice, we took long walks there. The boat transfers is about a 5 minute ride
