This a brand new villa which is very beautiful but needs to have shampoo and a small kitchenette since there is no restaurant or any nearby. But the place is very relaxing and beautiful at the same time.

During my recent visit to the town, I found it to be an ideal spot for a short stay of a night or two. This allowed me to explore the local history related to the railroad, Afro-Caribbean culture on the Atlantic coast, and visit nearby attractions such as the Reventazón and Pacuare Rivers, as well as Barra del Colorado. For a delightful café experience, I recommend trying the pinto with scrambled eggs at La Castellana. Alternatively, you can enjoy a delicious meal at the Hoosana Food Garden, where various options can be ordered from their multiple windows. The town of Siquirres is a mere 2-hour trip from San Jose. However, do keep in mind that the highway is currently under construction, and be cautious of regulated traffic through the Braulio Carrillo National Park.
