The care and attention shown by Leo was a standout for us. Finding accomodation for a family can be hard but the sized rooms were great value for money. We were travelling on a budget but this property exceeded our expectations. Leo breakfast and birdwatching was outstanding. A lovely pool to cool off in. A taxi ride is $4 to town and a bus station right outside, there is a great view of Arenal from a spot in the pool area and in the dining deck. We were lucky enough to see toucans and monkeys in the trees above and Leo was in hand with his telescope. Tje night frog tour was engaging and fun - we also saw an owl.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. The restaurant has excellent views over the Arenal volcano, and you can spot a lot of birds there as well. The restaurant also serves excellent dinner options, and is manned by very friendly staff. The hotel staff can also help with organizing tours and transport, and are very efficient.

Practical buildout of the buildings, rooms, facilities and furnishings. Some nice style and decoration (stonework), gardening. Nice pools, although not for swimming, also the area surrounding them. Tasty and variety of food on breakfast. Nice location-close to the town centre and some nice restaurants and shops. Also, good for looking at the volcano (when not in clouds). Nice option for using hot natural water facilities in a partnering hotel. Helpful, polite staff. Excellent value for money.
