We started with a room that was to close to the restaurant. Then you hear the kitchen extractor and the smell on the balcony. The room was further oké. But we asked if we good have another room, which was fixed directly. This room was even bigger and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The restaurant has fair pricing and the food is really good. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super nice. Just book you will have a great time here.

Great location for all the possible activities in the area. The volcano national park, thermal pools and waterfalls are all just a few minutes by car. Very nice restaurant and good breakfast.

The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, they were so happy to give advice on what the best places in Rincon de La vieja are. The breakfast they serve (for a little extra but so worth it) is a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. I will be coming back.

On a family farm this was a lovely cabin. Spacious room with a good sized comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They have a lovely decking area at the front to watch the birds. There is no noise at night. The family made us very welcome. The cabin is on the road to the national park and very close to La Leona waterfall, a very popular tourist attraction. It is ideal for visits to both, but especially the National park, Rincon de La Vieja .

Great food, amazing views and hiking trails in the jungle. Definitely the best chocolate in Costa Rica! Pablo and Anna are knowledgeable and wonderful hosts. The views and the chocolate tour experiences are the best parts about a stay at La Anita.

The staff of the hotel was really nice (especially Carlos) and helpful. Food in the restaurant is very tasty, there is beautiful view on the volcano. Good localisation also. I really recommend this hotel.

Amazing place right in the middle of a rainforest with wildlife right at the door. Hot springs, big rooms, great spa and good food. My kids enjoyed the welcome tropical drinks. There is a minivan with a driver that drives you around. Very comfy beds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful with lots of plants in pots and a few central trees in the middle of the property. It felt safe and secure. We were able to park our rental car in the gated parking lot and were able to come and go at whatever time. Breakfast was comprehensive and prompt. Great stay for our family of four!
