Very friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful bee-friendly wild garden. Great to have a space to sit and relax outside and enjoy nature. Well-equipped kitchen and lovely modern shower room with lots of storage space. As we travelled by public transport, it was very useful to have supermarkets and the town centre within 10 minutes' walk.

A lovely town center with small shops. We were there a week before October 31st – on Fridays, Esens transforms into the "Halloween Capital." Spooky, with live music and lots of food stalls. Worth seeing!

Esens-Bensersiel boasts a fantastic location on the North Sea coast. Many places are easily accessible by public transport. Esens itself has a lovely pedestrian zone and a train station with connections to Wilhelmshaven. There's also a museum in the windmill, as well as numerous restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and discount stores.

It's worth strolling through the town and admiring the old houses. Scattered throughout the town are lovely information panels about the buildings and the town's history. We visited the mill museum, which was absolutely fantastic. It also houses a clock museum. Unfortunately, our visit was too short, so we weren't able to see all the interesting houses and museums.

Esens is a beautiful little town with plenty of shops and restaurants, perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle. For holidaymakers arriving on weekends, it's worth noting that the Edeka supermarket is open even on Sunday mornings. I would particularly like to highlight the restaurants "Hopfenlaube" and "Zeus" with their excellent cuisine.

Esens is a small, pleasant town. It has an excellent café and is not far from the North Sea. There is plenty to see and do in and around Esens, making it a great place for a varied and enjoyable holiday.

A charming little town with a short shopping area.

A charming little town with a short shopping area. A visit to the museum in the mill is highly recommended; the tea room is interesting. Restaurants were closed after 8 pm, so reservations were necessary. However, a self-service restaurant near the central parking lot offers delicious food and plenty of seating.
