We advised we were running a bit late for check in so they arranged a special key pick up for us. They recommended the closest hotel for dinner. Their breakfast was a good variety. Miguel gave us recommendations on the area and special walking path to closest boat harbour cruise. It was great to be able to speak English in the booking process messaging and to Miguel on premises. The location is quiet, laid back and a great views of the lake and sunrise over the lake is beautiful! There is boat hire right out front on the small jetty where you can spot the tiny fish through to the massive fish through the crystal clear water. I would definitely recommend others stay here for a lake side stay whether a couple or a family as there is plenty of lawn space and activities for everyone to spread out. Free car parking onsite is a big bonus.

Back after a couple of years and still has the Bora relaxing feeling. They have made some improvements and changes since our last visit and some are really good. The new extension on the sky bar so even when weather not great it still makes an excellent location for a cosy drink at the end of the day. The new rest rooms so even more places to chill after the saunas and pool. The restaurant serves good food and the chef will make almost all the dishes gluten frei if asked. The staff will provide gluten frei rolls for breakfast when asked and there is muelsi that is GF as well. Always tidy and organised. We have had nothing but helpful staff in hotel and sauna. Love this hotel and facility. Always a shame when we need to go home and feels a long time till our next visit at Christmas.

The beer garden and location are fantastic.

The beer garden and location are fantastic. The cycle paths are superbly developed. I'd never been to this part of Lake Constance before, which turned out to be a mistake. You're practically in Switzerland. Schaffhausen and the Rhine Falls are also worth a visit.

A lovely holiday apartment in a beautiful boarding house with a terrace and a nice, functional apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, we were very satisfied and will gladly recommend your property, and have already recommended it to friends and acquaintances. We will certainly come back.

We visited the Hesse House and the Otto Dix House.

We visited the Hesse House and the Otto Dix House. Both were very interesting and informative. Sitting in the café at the Dix House was very cozy and a lovely end to the audio-guided tour of the house and its history. We also had a wonderful day at the lake with a hike in beautiful weather.

The hotel's location right on the lake is fantastic, of course. The grounds are also lovely. We were there in winter, but it's even nicer in summer. The hotel is very quiet and well-maintained. You can sleep wonderfully.

Super luxurious contemporary design in the rooms and all the public spaces. Lovely staff especially the lady who served us at dinner. We went for the gourmet set menu and it was excellent and enjoyable experience. Wellness area is magnificent and surrounding access to paths around the lake was wonderful. Also very much felt like a family business as we saw the owner and his family a number of times checking in with guests and generally making us feel very welcome-unusual in this day and age for such a high end hotel. Thoroughly recommed.

Our stay at Angel’s apartment was absolutely amazing! Angela is a warm person and open minded host. Everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Little touches like the fresh flowers foem the garden and a handwritten note made the experience even more special. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Gaienhofen!

Light, airy and spacious apartment in a lovely small village. The apartment is very modern and well-equipped, we could not have wanted for anything more. The setting of Gaienhofen by the lake is magical and the area is clearly and rightly proud of local produce. Fewo Konrad was a lovely place to stay for a few relaxing days.
