The hotel exceeded our expectations - while the common space was a bit "older", the room was freshly rennovated, spacious and cosy. The balcony was convenient and the breakfast was very nice. The staff were friendly and radiated the "family feeling". Would love to return one day.

It's the second time we're staying here. And again, it was amazing! The hotel has its own atmosphere - that's why we were back! The staff and the room were very good! The restaurant is amazing! We were very pleased that the waiter recognised us 😊 the location is quite far from Munchen but its a very calm and peaceful place with amazing castle next to the hotel and view to the river. I'm sure we'll get back to the hotel again!

Great location of hotel, affordable parking, nice rooms and very welcoming personnel. There are some great places for food and drinks around. Additionally, there is a self service laundry washing place 100m away, which is great if you stay for a longer time. With good price, this is a very nice place to stay in center of München.

The hotel has a basement carpark which is convenient for us as we traveled by car. The location is about 20min drive from town. We like the modern design, cleanliness and the breakfast. We have 5 in our family and booked for 6 person private room which comes with 2 shower rooms though only one toilet but is separated from the shower area. There is restaurant behind the hotel which is about 5min walk so we need not drive out for dinner. There is also a museum within walking distance. A good choice for family and friends who traveled in a group and value for money.

Rooms were newly renovated and spacious. Beds were comfortable with fluffy pillows and amazing duvet. Hotel itself was near the center, around 10 min by tram. In addition, hotel had a great breakfast buffet, and the staff was so friendly.

Located in a quiet area, at 5 minute walk from U-Bahn and 30 minutes walk from Central Station, next to the park where the Oktoberfest takes place, is good for those who want to explore Munchen. The room , equipped with coffee maker, minibar and tablet, was big, very clean and had a comfortable bed and firm pillows. Breakfast was good and very varied. The staff was friendly and ready to provide all the support the one I had. Thank you for the early breakfast which you arranged.

Hotel Grünwald is well located in a relatively quiet area.

Hotel Grünwald is well located in a relatively quiet area. There is good access to downtown Munich via the tram. Note however that the tracks for the tram area being replaced so there is bus service that will get you to the nearest U-Bahn station. Also, in the vicinity there are grocery stores and some very good restaurants!

You wouldn't expect a good and pleasant hotel so far from the center of Munich, but this experience was so enjoyable that I didn't mind the 40-minute tram ride from the main station. The surroundings are perfect: a great view from the restaurant terrace, calm and cozy accommodations, a nearby riverbank, and forests so massive that you can't help but admire the nature around you.

The girl at reception was very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Regarding the location of the hotel, even if it is in the outskirts of Munich, it is in the middle of a forest and that makes it very calm and nice.
