It‘s a hidden gem on the side of the road. Looks like you are entering a different world. Very cute building, the staff is nice, the rooms comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. Everything is cosy and the train connection into the city is very easy.

The location was really peaceful, calm and relaxing. Breakfast was good although there were not so many selections. The location of the hotel close to a nearby supermarket was really convenient. The restaurant was really convenient especially there were not so many restaurants around the area and the menu was really tasty. Staffs were also nice and really accommodating.

We stayed here for two nights and were pleased that it was in a beautiful, peaceful location overlooking the park and the lake. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great sized bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on both nights which was excellent! They had a good selection on the menu at very reasonable prices and it overlooked the park and lake which made it a lovely place to dine. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. All the staff (reception, waiters, waitresses and maids) were extremely helpful and friendly. There were a couple of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance and also a couple of petrol stations close by. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived – a great hotel...

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived – a great hotel, a warm welcome, and a wonderful room. We ate at the hotel and were very satisfied; the food was delicious. In the evening, we went for a short bike ride and found the area very beautiful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful – we couldn't have asked for a better start to the day.

Really nice and beautiful hotel, wonderful breakfast and such a wonderful setting. Really good hotel restaurant, such good food! The dog and the kids enjoyed it a lot, as did we adults! Really highly recommended, the staff was also so friendly!

The bed, breakfast, and food were very good.

The bed, breakfast, and food were very good. There were several mares with foals in the stable, which was lovely to watch. We had a trailer with us, which we were able to park there without any problems. The entire house and grounds are beautiful and in perfect condition. The owners and staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Lavish breakfast. The evening meals were a good selection of traditional German cooking using local, seasonal ingredients where appropriate. The staff were most help and friendly to this English speaker. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway or base to explore the green countryside of northern Germany. I had a friend pick me up and deliver me back by car. When it came time to depart, there is a bus right outside the hotel into the town of Wedel, from where a train runs directly to Hamburg Airport.

Cozy hotel, good restaurant, big rooms, a lot of hot water in the shower, net on the window, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, private parking (they let us leave our motorcycle inside the save garage). The staff is very nice, helpful and welcoming.

Lovely hotel in a rural location. Very comfortable rooms and a very popular restaurant. They also have a large function room which is great for private functions like weddings.
